1) The perp may have gotten lucky in timing or may have been there waiting over several days.

I heard Lindsey Graham say on TV that he was supposed to be there, but something happened and he couldn’t go. Otherwise he would’ve been with Trump. I wonder what that something happened was? This guy was from North Carolina according to the sheriff, he did not live nearby. North Carolina’s at least 500 600 miles away.
All that Routh has to say when taken into custody is “Lawyer” & all questions stop 🛑. The sheriff likely had no opportunity for interrogation.

Have you ever been to West Palm Beach? Trump could just as well been heading to the airport which is very close to the golf course, or some other nearby destination.

I wouldn’t say ‘leaking’. This is more likely a case of ‘reporting’ his schedule in some nefarious way. This has to be intentional.
People are missing formative questions.
Lots of questions like how did this guy with a rap sheet get an AK? How did he get it from Hawaii to Florida? How did he know Trump was playing golf at the last minute?
He had to have cased the place. His position gave him shots at two different holes.

Tracing his whereabouts over the past week or two could be very revealing.
