“They can control what’s in their lab-grown meat they can add or takeaway whatever they want.”
That is my worry too. We would not have a clue, it could be:

No need to ban it. Just proclaim it can’t be sold within 100 miles of a school or church - kind of like alcohol, but on steroids.
To: Sam77
If the product were at least labeled as such, we might stand a chance. But I seem to recall the Gates cabal trying to get around that commonsense measure.

“With all his money ... THIS is the best thing he can think of to help people?”
Gates has never considered “helping” people at all. His motives are completely insane and never designed to help anyone.

There’s no constitutional right to sell lab grown meat anymore than there’s a constitutional right to sell cigarettes or booze. On the flipside, we (the people) did not grant the government the power to regulate everything.

Just imagine how many millions of these power hungry lab Gates would have to build to feed the world or starve the world

Starve the world is the true end goal. Outlaw independent sources and create a dependency and monopoly then shut it all off at the right time.

I will always object to the use of ‘milk’ to any product which does not originate from a mammalian; that should never have been permitted.
The same applies to meat. Gates’ product is a ‘protein product’, NOT ‘meat’.
Period. And DeSantis should take on the fake milk industry & FDA, too.

Just like ‘soy protein isolate’.
Agreed, but I will know.
I avoid all such products: I am one of those rare ‘label readers’...
Unfortunately, your statement is true of the masses.

Well if you can’t ban lab grown meet then you can’t ban the sale of cat and dog meat either.

Can’t states impose regulations more stringent than federal regulations, but not less stringent?
For example, California environmental, gasoline formulation, automobile regulations, etc.?

Sadly, fake meat won’t be labeled as such.

Good for FL and DeSantis.
Selling chemical compounds labeled as *food* is false advertising.
I suppose his concession could be that it if were clearly labeled as lab grown meat alternative.

Billionaire Bill Gates is suing Florida after Governor Ron DeSantis issued a complete ban on his lab-grown meat, arguing that the new law violates his constitutional rights. Since when did the Constitution mean anything to a leftist. (Yeah, I know, when they can use it to their advantage or to try to hamstring the right.
Besides, I didn't know there was a Constitutional right to poison people.

How is banning lab grown tumors any different than banning normal and large capacity magazines? Are you really that clueless?????
Read the Second Amendment and then find me one where it says that someone has the Constitutional right to sell anything.
