The "Lone Wolf Shooter" is a powerful story that worked quite well to explain the Kennedy assassinations and calm the people. Of course, that is what the Deep State people would turn to when planning to assassinate President Trump. It was cheap and effective the last few times they used it.
If people still buy that stuff the Democrats can keep up the pretense of "Our Democracy", even when they kill their political opponents. It is a big advantage when trying to retain totalitarian control over the people to have an image of a civil society which the people can believe is still effective.
But this most recent attempt failed. People are not buying the Narrative(tm) any longer. Might as well drop the pretenses. The Deep State can show people who is really the boss.
The Deep State people won't bother with the "Lone Wolf" story next time. They will use a professional hit team. Perhaps a bomb or an attack drone, or sabotage of the aircraft used to transport Trump and Vance. It will be false flagged to look like "The Russians Did It" (tm).
I expect they will try again. This is the "New Normal".
