Perp was behind the gabled roofline (ridge) until the last moment. I don’t think the snipers “above” Trump saw the perp more than a second or so (and not in their scopes - watch the closer sniper look up from his scope) B4 the assassin fired.
The 5 shot volley almost certainly came from nearer the building the perp was on — in the vid taken there, those 5 shots were much louder than the shooter’s shots.

It's much more likely that he was coached because it is not a secret that President Trump wears a bullet proof vest at his rallies.
Was the perp on the rifle team, or did he just try to get on it? If he failed at that, it suggests a really bizarre motive...

This tells me the shooter was going for a head shot instead of body mass - which is a good thing as Trump’s head tilt saved his life.
The assassin’s shooting skills were then much better than his high school days for almost making a head shot. This tells me he had some training and range time with his rifle, which suggests accomplices.
