I was in Taipei in May.
They do not want to kowtow to Xi.
What’s happening is happening the US and allied nations are tariffing electric cars from China trying to ban TikTok, shut Huawei and ZTE out of 5G networks.
Its the kind of intense economic warfare waged against Japan in 1941.
How China chooses to respond???
If they’re going to do anything, it should be while US leadership is in a position f weakness.
Everything he posts on China presents Chinese communist point of view and narrative.
Any war in Taiwan would wipe tens of thousands that live there and destroy Taiwan.
And yet the Taiwanese are determined to resist. Why is that?
Simple answer is because they are certain that the alternative is going to be far worse.
That is the prevailing opinion, IMHO, across East Asia.
That being said, EVERY American should be MORE, FAR MORE concerned the thousands of Chinese nationalists crossing into our country over open borders.
