Google has a lot of articles stating Trudeau is NOT the illegitimate son of Fidel Castro. Below is a link with many articles on the subject. Remember what others have said about “click bate.”

I don’t consider it anymore threatening than what they have been doing for decades. Flying their bombers close or into other countries airspace, fighters getting close to other countries aircraft….

That “fleet” sailing into Cuba with a sub that has parts of its protective coatings pealing off lol, I am sure was an attempt at intimidation, not sure how intimidating but meanwhile on the other side of the world China is actually attacking Philippines military and civilian assets and I see little coverage of that

I imagine you are correct, so what is the proper response? Is it “peace for our time” 1938 scenario which worked out well?

Do we say any country with nuclear weapons Russia, China, India, NK, Iran, England, France, Israel….can do whatever they want so as to “avoid “ nuclear war?

Putin started this IMO for his own dreams of a greater Russian empire and to, as he has often lamented, a return to the power, fear, and prestige that was lost with the fall of the Soviet Union.

If he is given what he wants, as with hitler in 1938, what reason is there to believe he will be done with his expansionist dreams.

Hitler was given parts of Czechoslovakia, and then proceeded to take the rest and the world did nothing. Putin like hitler can’t exactly be blamed for thinking the west would do nothing if he attacked Poland and likewise Putin took Crimea and other parts of Ukraine and the west did very little, so why not go after the rest of Ukraine.

History doesn’t repeat but it does rhyme I believe is the quote

The aftermath of a nuclear strike and/or emp strike is an interesting rabbit hole to go down into

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
Albert Einstein

I think he knew what weapons ww3 would be fought with actually with the sticks comment

All one has to do is look at any major natural disaster like a hurricane to see how fragile our societies and infrastructure are.
Major cities would be death zones. No power, no clean water, no food or medical care

Us vs them would rule when survival is on the line would rule

The fact that they showed you their fallout shelter was proof they had no idea what would happen if the shelter was needed, no guns another

I think this was given as an example of rigid leadership.

You know, we really won't know the answer to "who's best" until we face off in nuclear armageddon. Then, it really won't matter.

Early indications from the US/NATO conflict in Ukraine are that it might not turn out the way we expect. After all, the Ruskies have faced the best the West can throw at them, and they still control over 30% of former Ukraine after over two years of the SMO. Facts is facts.

As for leadership and subs, how about leaders that oversaw the sinking of the Thresher, the Scorpion, or most recently, the Connecticut that almost sank themselves after hitting an "undersea mountain."

Don't throw stones if you live in glass house :-).

Nice rule. They started the wars and then invoked the rule?

None of those articles deal with the rather obvious match up of when his mommy spent in Cuba with Fidel, while a side trip of her husband to Mexico occurred. That, and the very much un-cited comments of insiders of Fidel who said he banged her- and the months match to the birth date. One final, a consortium of forensic id experts give their opinion on facial digital matchup (ear crenellation, eye socket/jaw ratios)— it’s one of many Fidel’s bastards. That and see eye eh has DNA of both justin and fidel- they match (anti-castro peeps have this). Whatever- justin is a dictator socialist/communist, and is on the way out.

I understand the lead up to WW II and how the British and French appeased Hitler, the US was isolationist and how the USSR was allied with him for awhile.

Now we face situation where NATO and especially the US are run by incompetent idiots and many diplomats who have no idea what diplomacy entails. Now we are in great danger.

The war in Ukraine is lost and they have blood on their hands.

Putin wants nothing to do with occupying any of Europe, especially the parts that have been overrun with Muslims and are now ghettos/shitholes.

I won’t go back and forth with you. Have a good day.

So you are the town cryer yelling to everyone about what you know, but there can be no discussion
Perfect
I would not argue your idiot part, but you left out Putin and I love how the sovereignty of Ukraine is not even an issue, perhaps the moguls have an issue with “Russias” sovereignty, I know how much Putin loves history
Take care

I see your point but all this gets very old and tiring and we know the score. We don’t need to put little fine points on it with drawn out discussions.

Take care.

I can’t hear very well(VA hearing aids), my eyes are going(VA Glasss),every morning something new aches, and if I can remember to take my heart pill in the morning I consider it a win, but we keep going

Really appreciated your kind conversation here, not all that common anymore

I hear you. I’m almost 74 and a Nam combat vet. Humping in the boonies with a heavy rucksack, dropping off helicopter skids, rappelling, etc. took it’s toll. My left ear is messed up due to an RPG, a few teeth knocked out, flesh wound in left arm.

Yes, I appreciate our conversation, too and thanks for your kind words.

“Drive On” brother. All the best to you. Take care.

This was the 1960s. THey lived in the suburbs of a small town, surrounded by farms and countryside not downwind of any major target city, and 50 milies from any likely target city. So weapon seemed like the more critical issue. OK?

Knock, knock. Who is there. Your neighbor and I want all your food.

Opens door (weapon in hand), well you can’t have all my food, do you have something to trade?

Uh, uh (seeing weapon), we have a lot of food in and from our garden that his not yet been hit with fallout. Do you have any canned goods to trade?

Sure, neighbor! I’m sure we work out something reasonable.

One fact is Russia is occupying around 20% of Ukraine territory, no where near 30%. And having some difficulty holding on to that, especially the very vulnerable Crimea with limited access and water.

They already have had to send all their ships to the Sea of Azov as they have been badly hurt in the Black Sea and at Sevastopol and near the Kersh Bridge. The approaches at the north of Crimea are vulnerable, and the dam they totally destroyed not only interfered with their plans for Kherson, it also seriously affected safety of the water supply for dry Crimea. Also Turkey has made some demands of Russia regarding Crimea, and it appears Ukraine may already have worked out an understanding regarding Crimea with Turkey.

Videos of the “staff” of this demented clown Admin- show true children. 22 years old and up- and they are children, in their responses, use of language, understanding of the world and world powers or even the gravity of decisions affecting the stability of world cohesion (trade, money, warlike actions, and...threats made). They seem to have no understanding of the notion of future consequences of actions taken (again, just like children).

They eat up stupid posts with “patriots on the FL Beaches(no one would notice those there are so many unoccupied beaches in FL lol!) & your comment on the “boomer” was spot on funny- it most assuredly was not surfaced so that a real time photo could be made and at the same have a convenient USAF E6 have a path track from... Oslo to circle overhead at what the track color indicated at 6-7K feet over the boomer! Not very clever fake to “scare” Russians- our E6s operate over CONUS at 18K feet and higher. Norwegians do have 5 P-8 Poseidons for ASW work and possibly other surveillance.

Hard to believe our current military would pull, as you say, 3rd grader mentality fake stuff like this.

Dream on!

30% when you roll in Crimea -- and growing. How about the 500,000 Ukies who have died fighting the bumbling Ruskies, and the country has no electricity?

So, you're here to tell me that the best the total of the mighty US/NATO can do is cause the Russians to move a few ships in over two years??

Get real -- Brandon.

The assassination attempt on Reagan reportedly focussed his mind on reducing the chances of a nuclear war and working on agreements with the USSR toward that end. I can only hope Trump will have the same clarity of thought in these perilous times and be the clear-eyed grownup we so desperately need now.
