The McCloskey couple defended their property and lives from an unruly mob, who broke into their private area. They were prosecuted by the disgraced St. Louis machine, pardoned by the Missouri Governor, and have now had their convictions expunged.

The persecution of the McCloskeys shows how corrupt prosecutors will prosecute the innocent while ignoring the crimes of favored groups.
In the "woke" ideology, criminals are "victims" or "oppressed" while innocents are "oppressors".
Anything done to those labled "oppressors" is justified in the perverse and inverted ideology of cultural Marxism known as "woke".

“Judge Joseph P. Whyte wrote in an order Wednesday that the purpose of an expungement is to give people who have rehabilitated themselves a second chance, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.” There is no “rehab” for someone who did not commit a crime.

The pistol Patricia McCloskey brandished appears to have been inoperable. When the police impounded the McCloskeys’ guns, it was reported they did not find ammunition for the rifle that was held by Mark McCloskey. The McCloskeys may have been bluffing. Ya think?
Whilst this may have been legally asute (given the jurisdiction), it is also a good way to get killed.

Sometimes bluffs work. Sometimes they don't.
In this case, the bluff, if it was a complete bluff, worked.
Hard to know how often firearms bluffs work, but it appears to be a significant part of the time.

They should now sue the local judiciary into bankruptcy for malicious prosecution.

The BLM crowd broke down a gate to gain access to the property - the BLM “leaders” claimed later that the “gate was already broken” when they got there, which neighbors and the McCloskeys refute.

The BLM crowd broke down a gate to gain access to the property - the BLM “leaders” claimed later that the “gate was already broken” when they got there, which neighbors and the McCloskeys refute. Video evidence shows both claims to be incorrect.
The gate was closed and locked when the mob got there.
The mob organizers jimmied the lock and directed the mob inside.
The gate was damaged on the way out.

The persecution of the McCloskeys shows how corrupt prosecutors will prosecute the innocent while ignoring the crimes of favored groups.THAT'S the proper take regarding this incident.
The McCloskey were entirely correct on the principles of Private Property, Trespass, Forced Entry and Personal Defense, while making slight, non-criminal mistakes on firearms handling procedure.

That is because sane people really do not want to get shot.
It hurts.
Only crazy or really brave people willingly confront someone who is wielding a firearm.
Most mobs are made up of cowards. Cowards that will back down IF they are confronted.

From where do these nutburgers like Gardner, Bragg, James, and Fat Fani Willis come from? How did they get a license to practice the Law? They let criminals go and go after people who are trying to protect themselves and property. Its time to prosecute them and ruin their lives instead of ruining the lives of diligent taxpayers.

Hard to know how often firearms bluffs work, but it appears to be a significant part of the time. The best bluff inside a dark home is the racking sound of a 12ga pump.
There's nothing wrong with the bluff, but there's a lot wrong if one is outside the home, exposed, and "armed" with no ammo and there is an armed perp with no compunctions present in the crowd. One has the option to bluff with a loaded weapon.

They are known as "Soros" prosecutors. There is no mystery as to where they come from or why.
They have been put into place to destroy the criminal justice system in the USA.
Here is an article which explains it in detail.

Whole I support the couple I find it hard to believe Mark went to the trouble to buy an AR-15 and magazines but had no ammo for it.

I’ve done that, I made 4 black guys come back with my stuff by using an unloaded single shot bolt-action 410 to control them.

Now, time to sue the city of St. Louis for damages. Should be well over $100m. The rule of thumb is, you pull out a gun, use it!
To: ansel12
Yeah, never bring an unloaded rifle to a gunfight.
