FTA——Official documents provided to CWBChicago say Foxx flipped Swetz off. The documents also say Swetz’s initial remark to Foxx was a bit spicier: “Get the f*** off the road, b**ch.”
Swetz stopped his truck and reversed toward Foxx, according to Villareal, leading Foxx to believe he might hit her with the vehicle. The documents said Swetz “zig zagged” his truck before it straightened out and accelerated toward Foxx in reverse.
She stepped out of the road onto the parkway as Swetz pulled to a stop next to her.
Swetz stayed in the driver’s seat as the two engaged in a further confrontation, according to the documents. Ultimately, he threw a “brown drink” on Foxx, Villareal said. She believed the drink was root beer because some of it landed in her mouth, according to Villareal.
The documents say Swetz hurled the root beer onto Foxx’s face from a Big Gulp cup and drove off. Police arrested Swetz later in the day.
Villareal said he admitted to partaking in the incident and added that Foxx identified Swetz in a photo lineup.
Whole lot of stoopid going on in that story. Sounds like both of them deserved their fate.

They can’t even get felony charges on actual felonies, but this is warranted in your opinion? To me, this is just another example of it being illegal to challenge the political left. Animal Farm: “All Animals are equal. Some are more equal than others.”
If Trump loses this coming election to a frail weak man who’s obviously being led around by Obamas puppet strings, the Democrats will be in charge for the next 100 years because opposition will not be tolerated at worst…. and seriously discouraged at best. The funny thing is, moderate Dems, when they finally catch a clue as to what they helped usher into power, will scream the loudest at the injustice of it all.
Go ahead… believe Foxx suffered a serious felony, if that fantasy helps you sleep at night.

The judge seems to be inviting a more serious charge of assault because the root beer could have been infected with covid and was thus a deadly weapon.

But I don’t fault the driver for not having this handy, so I’d acquit. He did the best he could with what was available.
It is amazing the number of black female judges we now have in this country. Maybe we only read about the ones who are either incompetent or deliberately biased.
