Coupling their "right to housing", with the equal protection clause will take care of that.
Just work on your accent and make a claim.
Draining the taxpayers
So is New York footing the bill for that or the US taxpayer ,,, or do I need to ask?
The reason is that the hotels, motels, etc get far more money from the gov to cover the costs of illegals staying there than they do when citizens stay there
Another reason is that once illegals move in, hardly anyone that works there has to work anymore- they don’t clean the rooms, run towels up to rooms, etc etc etc. Hotel lobby workers all stand around doing nothing practically but show up for work and collect paychecks when illegal invaders move in.
Also, groups such as salvation army, and other “help” groups are all cashing in on the migrant invasion beczuse they are paid to provide services and products tO the illegals
Once hotels get a taste of the $$ provided by accommodating illegals, and once they ,earn that they don’t have to work hard anymore, they settle into the scam and are content to keep it that way.
“ some 16,000 former hotel rooms are now booked, while the room rate for actual hotels is now at an eye-watering $300 a night..”
$4,800,000 a day.
L
$300 a night for LEECHES
“I bet you’ll find that in America as well.”
Where you been? The Patels own most of the hotel/motels in America. /s
“Sadly, New York will never be the same. It will never recover.”
NYC was nearly apocalypic from late 70s through 80s. I’m talking many nogo zones completely abandoned to squatters, hearing people disappearing and being murdered every day, the west side highway closed down and filled with burned out cars. Entire bands of crackheads burning anything they can find in massive bonfires to stay warm and robbing anyone with a cent. My father was a cabbie and killed two robbers (that I know of).
I was here for that and watched as the city recovered and flourished to a magical place (while still very affordable). There was a decline after covid but NYC today is still paradise by comparison to where it already has been...
This is a much different country than it was back then.
Get your bedbugs!
I used to check Bedbugregistry.com prior to booking a hotel.
It is no longer working. They probably got paid off to shut down their site.
That is something I didn’t know. I just thought that how it was in Britain, it was in America.
Hotel Rooms loaded with drunken freeloading, illegal aliens shouting “we want more” is New Yawk’s strength. New Yawk Strong!!!! ROTFL!
BINGO master plan in progress comrade.
People said the exact same back then when talking about the recovery after great depression
But the demographics were pretty much still the same.
Kennedy’s Immigration Bill took care of that!
The chips and salsa will be replacing pizza as New Yawk’s favorite food. The Big Apple is now the Big Piñata.
I should’ve included an LOL. I can’t afford to stay at hotels owned by the “Hiltons”...so I’m stuck in the Mom & Pop places. And they’re usually run by Indians. That being said...they’re usually good experiences.
The 20% of the hotels in NYC being used for migrant stays blows my mind.
HA HA! I bet that really sucks.
YES. It is.
Weld the doors and windows shut.
Let ‘em rot.
