I’m beginning to feel a draft around here. It’s all part of the plan. Drive recruitment and retention so low with anti patriot woke weirdness that you must draft to fill our vital needs. A simply majority vote in this warmongering congress brings it back.

1. Draft Authorization: Congress and the President

A national emergency, exceeding the Department of Defense’s capability to recruit and retain its total force strength, requires Congress to amend the Military Selective Service Act to authorize the President to induct personnel into the Armed Forces.

Bingo! Those are the ones that are going to come after the Americans. They hate America. They’re here to invade and to destroy. Could you imagine having a communist Chinese or a muslim commander in charge of our military and pentagon. ….and we haven’t even talked about those invaders working as police officers. My god, my god what have we done. God help us but we are so screwed!

Scores on the individual ASVAB subtests are reported as Standard Scores.

Standard Scores are scores that have a meaning relative to a national sample of youth aged 18 to 23. About half the population scores at or above a Standard Score of 50 and about 16% of the population scores at or above a Standard Score of 60.

Examinees also receive a score on what is called the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT).

AFQT scores are computed using the Standard Scores from four ASVAB subtests: Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), Mathematics Knowledge (MK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), and Word Knowledge (WK).

AFQT scores are reported as percentiles between 1-99. An AFQT percentile score indicates the percentage of examinees in a reference group that scored at or below that particular score. For current AFQT scores, the reference group is a sample of 18 to 23 year old youth who took the ASVAB as part of a national norming study conducted in 1997. Thus, an AFQT score of 90 indicates that the examinee scored as well as or better than 90% of the nationally-representative sample of 18 to 23 year old youth. An AFQT score of 50 indicates that the examinee scored as well as or better than 50% of the nationally-representative sample.

All standards are lowered as the USA descends deeper and deeper into the Decadence of Western Civilization.

Can the decay be reversed?

Yes, but only if the American People wake up to reality--FAST!--and seize control of America and her destiny.

Only the American People can Make America Great Again.

If they fail, America will fall!

According to the Navy’s website today, Jan 26, 2023, a high school diploma is required for enlistees or a 4 year college degree for officers.

https://www.navy.com/joining/requirements

In addition, enlistees must pass the ASVAB and officers must pass the Officer Aptitude Rating test. (I think this is not for all officer candidates, as I did not take any test when I was commissioned in the Army.)

The age for enlistment is between 17 and 41 years old. For officers, the age varies.

A recruit must have US citizenship or legal resident status. And he/she must pass the physical standards.

The requirements are basically what they were when I joined the Navy in 1979, except that the age cut-off was 37 back then.

This is not 1941, when a high school diploma was not nearly as common as today. Of course, anyone who had finished the eighth grade back then had a heck of a lot more good grounding in how to get along in the world than most high school graduates today. The value of that diploma has been so diluted and made meaningless, that it does not signify much of anything today.

The dropouts will prove to be a major disappointment to the Navy. Noncompliant, and even downright lazy, these pieces of human refuse are virtually untrainable in the skill sets needed today for serious military duty.

The draft may yet be necessary to fill the ranks, seizing the youth who would be capable, but never in a million years ever consider a stint in service to their country.

“This contradicts the years of explanations for why our technologically advanced military required better-educated recruits.”

HRM has been the bane of the enlisted puke for 50 years. Boots on ground (i.e. Cannon fodder) need only correctable vision, and only certain percentage of limbs, and digits. This is grunt work, not rocket science.

I didn’t have a diploma when I joined at 17. And I made E-5 easily within my 4!year hitch. And honestly, what the hell is today’s diplomas worth anyways!!??

My Dad with a 5th grade education and mother with a 3rd were self-educated. Dad could do math calculations in his head I could never do. Both Dad and Mom were well read and encouraged us to read.

It wasn’t the diploma.

It will be easier to dumb down the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test to get the results you want. A standardized test is only as good as the content of the test and its metrics.

Why can’t the prerequisite of a HS diploma /GED continue to be used with the test? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why this change is being made. They want to broaden the recruitment net because they can’t meet their goals.

Physical standards for elite units are being changed to recruit more women. We have a woke military that values DEI more than winning wars.

They’re laying the groundwork to fill the military with migrants.

Who will have no qualms about opening fire on the American middle class. They won’t be smart enough to operate the complex weaponry used abroad —- but they won’t need to. All they will need to be able to do is fire a fully automatic firearm on American citizens.

Time to re-examine “vital needs”.

Intelligent soldiers are superior, and that includes the infantry and Americans don’t use cannon fodder.

What is HRM?

The Mexican border and maintenance of our nuclear deterrent are about the only truly vital needs we have.

They are already considering them for the police departments in the blue cities. Same process denigrate the police with “defund the police”, crime goes up and citizens don’t want to join and now they are turning too illegals to fill the new positions. The combination is not good for the American citizenry.
