Argentina was invited to join BRICS along with Saudi Arabia, Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates:
Business Standard now reports:
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to Buenos Aires to witness the swearing-in on Sunday (10 Dec) of Argentina’s new president, Javier Milei...
...Milei welcomed Zelenskyy at the presidential palace after his inauguration. The two shared an extended hug, exchanged words and then Milei, who has said he intends to convert to Judaism (Zelensky is also Jewish), presented his Ukrainian counterpart with a menorah as a gift (Happy Hanukah). They were expected to have a longer one-on-one meeting later on Sunday.”
After a very friendly meeting, it appears Milei will be donating 2 MI-17 helicopters to Ukraine. Apparently Javier has no love for Russia, wishing to cast his lot with the West.

What a rambling post.
“Ukraine RIP, when Vlad decides.”
Why doesn’t he decide then?
Why leave so many more Russians dying in the field, when he could just decide not to?
Because he can’t. He tried, but couldn’t.
Day 655 of his three day “Special Military Operation”, and he has killed several times as many Russian troops as the Soviet Union’s ten year war in Afghanistan, and produced Russia’s biggest battlefield losses since WWII.
The 1st Guards Tank Army (Guard of Moscow) was routed and overrun in Kharkiv, losing most of its tanks, and making Russia the single biggest donor of tanks to the Ukrainian Army.
The Black Sea Fleet HQs is destroyed, and its Flagship sunk. Its warship have abandoned the Western Black Sea, and its blockade of Ukrainian shipping has been broken.
Remember the former hubris about how Europe would freeze without Russia’s gas? The Nordstream pipelines are destroyed, Europe has signed long term supply contracts with others, and Gazprom now operates at a net loss. This Winter, there are reports that Russia’s critical oil infrastructure will be targeted, now that Production has had an opportunity to expand elsewhere (US had its biggest year ever, and November was the biggest month ever).
Putin becomes increasingly irrelevant. Italy, California or Texas have bigger GDP’s than what is left of Putin’s Russia, and none of them depend on one thing, like Russia depends on oil.
You started out saying the ICC has already indicted him, as if that matters. (Hint: it's pretty meaningless). Now you are saying he "deserves death". Well, death is coming for us all, eventually.
You seem sort of fixated on him, that's an unfortunate habit in diplomacy. Obviously: we have to figure out how to survive with lots of leaders we don't like in charge of other countries. Zhi isn't a nice guy. Few leaders in Africa are nice guys. There are many dictatorships run by strongmen in the world.
It seems like a fools errand to sort out the relative level of corruption that is OK (presumably Biden's level and Zelensky's are not a big deal to you) and which are too much (Putin) and force every country to follow our decisions on this.
What did George Washington say: "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations—entangling alliances with none."
Dumping another $125 billion into Ukraine seems like it will not do anything to make Putin less despicable, and will cost another tens of thousands of Slavic lives, including now woman soldiers dying in frozen trenches. It's a sick, cynical game that Biden and other Ukraine War supporters are playing to no avail.
The sooner it ends the better. Which is what J.D. Vance told the world on Sunday.
It's so interesting that no one actually responded to that. It's like you have Putin Tourette's syndrome.
Yes We Do!
And yet, you are unable to respond to anything I or other critics of yours post, even direct fairly neutral questions with anything other than repetitive little insults.
How many times did you ask the one fellow whose handle happened to be the same word as the name of a city in Ukraine if he was from there? 20? 50?
My posts are in color and use the full formatting capability of Free Republic for visibility and clarity -to make it easier for people to acquire my thoughtful criticisms of the debunked, useless ORC propaganda you post.
Regardless of fancy or simple formatting the content is unassailable by the likes of you, and so you continue to respond with just personal insults, jibes and nonsense comments like this.
Speedy, I think you can do better. I think you used to do better! Maybe it's the trajectory of the war, the impending loss of your beloved Zelenskyyy? The fact of everyone (except a few propagandists) admitting it's almost "show over" time - maybe that's why you have fallen to such a low level of rhetoric?
Obviously you saw my colorful post, but you deflected on commenting on the opinions of U.S. Senator J.D. Vance, who forcefully rejects funding for Ukraine going forward. You refused to comment on his contention that any future peace agreement will have to include Ukraine conceding territory to Russia.
You are whining.
Where do you live in RuZZia?
You are whining.Your still dodging simple questions and answering with ad-hominems and nasty little quips.Where do you live in RuZZia?
Why is that?
As a matter of fact, I live in Texas, too. Just like you.
SEE! It's not hard to answer direct questions. Here: you can try again on these two. They are not trick questions. They are right out of the weekends news headlines:
“Putin becomes increasingly irrelevant. Italy, California or Texas have bigger GDP’s than what is left of Putin’s Russia, and none of them depend on one thing, like Russia depends on oil.”
Truth.
Thank you for your comment.

“Ukraine’s fight for freedom is one of the great causes of our time. And the United States is proud to stand with you. And, make no mistake about it, Ukraine matters profoundly to America’s security and to the trajectory of global security in the 21st century,” Austin said.
That’s why the United States has committed more than $44 billion in security assistance to Ukraine’s brave defenders and has rallied a historic coalition of some 50 allies and partners, who have contributed more than $37 billion in security assistance to Ukraine, he added.
“The capabilities from our coalition are making a crucial difference on the battlefield. Ukraine has taken back more than half of the territory grabbed by Russia since February 2022,” the secretary said.
