It is counterproductive to push a narrative that they are useless, do nothing, or are a uniparty. That is simply wrong.

A lot of people on this forum would disagree, as you probably know if you’ve been here for awhile. In fact its clear to me that their criticism of the GOP is growing more intense.
Most of the GOP goes along with the endless wars, unsustainable spending, and most importantly...the relentless expansion of government. Moreover, the GOP talks about accountability but when they have power do nothing to enforce it. And worse yet, many in the GOP are pro immigration so shy away from pushing to control our borders.
Those are not insignificant issues. What is wrong is enabling their persistent weakness IMO.
Another reason why the government should have stayed out of the student loans in the first place. Uncle Sam isn't supposed to be a loan shark.
Oh I have been here for a while.
Constructive criticism is one thing.
Echoing Democratic Underground’s fervent desire that we all give up, stop voting, or go third party is another.

"Bidenomics" means borrowers don't have to pay back their debts, tenants don't have to pay their rents, and landlords cannot evict renters who fail to pay.

You don’t get it at all. Going easy on the GOP is only enabling their weakness — and encouraging more of it. And its very telling that you completely ignored my examples of persistent GOP failures.
Rewarding failure and duplicity is not how you hold elected officials responsible. Most sensible people realize that. There has to be some performance standards if you want to move forward and accomplish meaningful things. Only in the GOP could unpopular and unaccountable failures like Mitch McConnell and Rona McDaniel keep their positions.
In case you haven’t noticed, the Democrats fight relentlessly for what they want. Why can’t the GOP do the same thing? Sadly, its such an unprincipled party that most people have no idea what the GOP even stands for since it refuses to fight for anything, except of course when it comes to fighting against each other. They don’t fight the Dems because they’re terrified the media might say something bad about them.
Heck, the pathetic GOP can’t even muster up the courage to defund the taxpayer subsidized liberal propaganda machine that attacks all things conservative on a daily basis (i.e., the incredibly biased NPR/PBS). Too much to expect from the Gutless Old Party I guess.
The sad truth is the GOP would rather be one half of the Uniparty than be the stand up party that fights for conservative principles, values and objectives.
amazing, bizarro world from the Left.
