Voters are giving Biden creadit, but for how awful it’s gotten in the last 2 1/2 years.
The economy has not tanked completely because the Trump tax-cuts and other economic policies are still in place. The economy started its downward slide when Biden changed only policy that mattered with the energy sector, and basically closing down the pipelines and instituting climate-change nuttiness, is what drove the U.S. into stagnation and could go into recession soon.
Like always, CNN sees things through their version of what a good economy should be, but, they fail to see things through the eyes of those who matter, and that is the consumer and businesses.
Further, if the economy has not tanked yet, it’s because the RED STATES are keeping the economy from recession. If the economy depended on the blue states, we would have been in recession since Biden took office, and for the rest of his term.
You can’t fake a narrative about the economy because people are seeing the high prices and feeling the pinch of having to spend more to get less every single day. Too bad CNN. You’ve been successful in covering up Democrat misdeeds but you can’t spin for a worsening economy.
I would give Biden full credit, and then some, for the state of the economy, but “great” it is not.
Inflation, wearisome nagging lack of productivity in the industrial base, artificial restrictions in the supply chains, and surrender of national sovereignty on every front do not a “great” economy make .At best, the nation is stagnant, and if reality were to prevail, we are almost certainly already in a deep recession, headed toward outright depression. If not right over the cliff.

Five dollar eggs, six dollar butter, sky high housing costs, soaring energy costs, and credit card interest rates above 20% when people increasingly are living on their credit card debt. Yeah really hard to figure why people don’t just love it.

I’ve been looking for it as well. I ask sometimes, “Is it just me?” Then I read the comments here and elsewhere and realize that it is not “just me”. Everyone has seen their grocery bill double, their power bill increase, their property tax go up, as well as insurance bill for both home and vehicles sky-rocket. Across the board, prices have increased.
Then, let’s talk about our Constitutional freedoms. The Biden administration instigates a new attack daily. Whether it is our 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, or others, our rights are constantly being bombarded by lawfare groups specifically formed to limit our freedoms.
So no, it’s not “just me”. By no metric has the Biden administration been good for me or our nation.
