“US Providing $300 Million in More Aid for Ukraine”
“The United States will provide another $300 million in new military aid for Ukraine in a package that is expected to include munitions for Ukraine’s Patriot missile defense system, defense officials tell VOA.
The officials, who spoke to VOA on condition of anonymity ahead of the package’s expected release Wednesday, said the latest aid also includes rockets for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and more tank ammunition and anti-armor capabilities ahead of an expected Ukrainian offensive.
Zuni unguided aircraft rockets and AIM-7 radar-guided air-to-air missiles are being provided for air support, and Avenger air defense systems and Stinger surface-to-air missile systems will also be included, according to officials.”

It is the first recorded loss of this valuable asset and the second loss of the S-400 component - previously a launcher was destroyed
The ruzzians forward deployed an S-400 command post, most likely to provide advanced warning of Storm Shadow launches.
The S-400 launcher that was destroyed several months ago was probably launching missiles in surface to surface mode.
Here's what an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol reported:
➡️ 100 Russians died
➡️ More than 400 were hospitalized
➡️ a communication station was destroyed
➡️ a 5 story building accommodating Russians was completely destroyed
If the mayor's advisor is correct then there were 500 casualties of which 100 were deaths.

“A fire broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s southern Krasnodar Krai region following what was likely a drone strike, the regional governor said overnight on May 31...
According to the Kremlin-affiliated Telegram news channel “Shot,” the drone strike occurred around 3 a.m. local time after which the refinery was “engulfed in flames and smoke.”
The Afipsky oil refinery is located in southern Russia, not far from the Novorossiisk Black Sea port.
The port of Novorossiysk was the headquarters for the Russian Black Sea fleet until the annexation of Crimea in 2014. Since then, Russia has transferred the headquarters to the occupied port city of Sevastopol.
A large fire also occurred on May 28 at the Ilsky Oil Refinery, located some 55 kilometers northeast of Novorossiysk. Local officials claimed the fire was also caused by a drone strike.
There have been an increasing number of reports about attacks on railway networks and oil refineries within Russian territory in recent weeks.
The drone attacks were also reported in several Russian regions on May 27, including the oil unit of the Druzhba pipeline refinery in Russia’s Tver region.”

Imagine launching a “Super Top Secret Spy Satellite” and the Rocket carrying it Immediately Malfunctions and then the Satellite is Captured by your Arch-Enemy...
