I know. I was only identifying her for ‘John S Mosby’...in post #70...who didn’t know.
Bare Trees was a great album, but I especially liked Mystery To Me from the Bob Welch era of FM.

Yep
I saw them live twice
Hot girls my junior year LOVED THEM
I did too actually
Yep
All four or five in that era I liked
Kiln House too
Probably mystery to me and heroes and bare trees and future games was my best music to go to shows with girls in sophomore and junior years
Girls didn’t like sabbath or tull or Uriah heep etc
They liked zeppelin though and ZZ Top and Alice cooper
here’s a demo recording of Stevie that I find interesting

She’s a natural.
“She’s a natural.”
Yep. It’s unmistakeable in that impromptu, semi-acapella effort.
The woman applying Stevie’s makeup was her best friend, Robin Anderson. Robin was the person who taught Stevie to sing when they were teens. Soon after that video was made Robin learned that she had terminal leukemia.
I had the cover showed her Areola before they brushed it out
Buckingham Nicks
We were all in lust with her
And girls him
Man he can play guitar in eccentric way very well
Well, the troops loved her, LOL!

(Stevie was actually a good sport about it)
“Man he can play guitar in eccentric way very well”
Agree. I’ve always been a fan of Lindsey’s guitar playing.
Thanks, that was a great find.
That version of the song never was released; that’s the only copy and the “official” version is quite different.
Reading the comments at youtube you see a common thread, everybody loves the spontaneity and her obvious joy in singing. It’s a fascinating video despite the sound quality and I often look it up. Lightning in a bottle.
The girl singing harmony with her is her sister in law Lori Nicks who was one of her long time backup singers.
