“Causing gold and silver to go up...”

Gold and silver don’t go anywhere, they’re rocks. It’s the change in their worth and that is nothing more than greed if a rock isn’t worth anything. So having more gold or silver doesn’t make you rich if you can’t sell it for something. It’s the people that are stupid enough to put up with it if worth is based upon what others think it should be or what they can get for it whether it’s worth it or not.

Example are that the most expensive thing in a soft drink you get at a fast food place is the cup it is in. So what’s the drink worth? I live in Tacoma, WA, so I will use the Seahawks ticket prices. I can buy tickets today in really good seating in section 111, row “E” between the 20 and 30 yard line for a measly $879 apiece so I can pay an additional price for what food is assigned to the section I am seated in.

Is it worth that much? People pay it, so a fool and his money are soon parted. So is the worth of the gold or silver or the acceptance of the public that pays it? Like I mentioned, they are a rock. Oh, government works the same way. But they never play with their rocks, just yours.

That sound right. I knew happened, just couldn’t recall when.

Anyway, ask around here and people think he got his start at 30, pulling gold teeth out of live Jews in Auschwitz.

$14 TRILLION
That's probably about $400 per pound of cotton produced.

FIRST: All calculations must be done in 1863 dollars (The Emancipation Proclamation date) for wages and cotton prices. That would amount to only a few cents per pound of cotton. Certainly NOT $400 per pound.

SECOND: Precisely HOW would eligibility be determined? What documentation is required to PROVE an individual is a descendant of slaves? If Bureaucrats attempt to determine eligibility, is that not discrimination and a violation of existing civil rights laws?

THIRD: MY FAMILY NEVER HAD SLAVES AND I'M NOT GIVING ONE RED CENT OF MY TAX DOLLARS!

Taxpayers (and that is a shrinking portion of the population) whose forebearers arrived after 1863 should be exempt from paying ANY portion of their taxes to ANY reparations.
