Retired teacher here. Couple million questions...1) Did the classroom have a teachers aid, can’t speak for TX but in NJ schools, all lower grades have aids. 2) My understanding is that the student was special needs, if so did her EIP (educational individual program) require an aid to accompany the student. 3) Was this special ed classroom, (also requires aid) 4) What are first graders doing with cell phones much less recording.

There is a reason why there is a teacher shortage. Not everything that happens at school is a teacher's fault, and they can't see all the mischief kids get into as soon as it happens. It appears that these two kids like each other and were doing what they saw adults do somewhere. The fact that this is heterosexual behavior, makes it less likely that wokism is to blame.

It was a school-provided iPad -- which begs the even deeper question as to why 1st graders need electronic devices? Digital kills reading and math is far better done on paper than on some over-worked drag-and-drop app. Society needs to rid children of screens.

I understand your sentiments and I agree with you that is what should be done, but that’s also what the left wants. The first teacher that dies will be the one that they advocate to disarm everybody.

Yes, these people are extremely evil. However, the only way to fight it to ensure your daughter also doesn’t end up in a death camp down the road is all lawful means. If this happened to my daughter, I would never stop mentioning what this teacher did and I would be seeking to replace all the school board and as much of the administration as we could.
