The super PAC supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for 2024 rolled out its first national ad Thursday.

Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting DeSantis’ unannounced prospective candidacy for the White House in 2024, released its ad publicly. The super PAC is spending at least $1 million to place the ad, which will be broadcast nationally beginning Monday.

DeSantis should be asked to clarify on the record where he stands on the tweet. I can see where that tweet by his PAC could be misconstrued, if that is not what was meant.

The okie dokey tone on lack of due process and the casual dismissal of the 2020 shenanigans is disconcerting.

We don’t know for sure what De Santis thinks about the town hall results. My guess is that this event sent shivers down his spine given the way Trump handled the questions and the reaction of the crowd to many of his comments, the standing ovation, and the various Trump surrogates after the town hall. Does DeSantis and his crew think they can take on Trump and defeat him? I’m sure this gives them something to think about. Trump is having a rally in Des Moines on Saturday, May 13th, let’s see how many thousands show up for that.
