Watching a video did t realize just how close valadar is to critical rail junction and lines important to Russians and an attack there would have a similar effect of cutting off Russian forces to the south

Wouldn’t discount an attack on bakmut as well for the Russians to lose in a few days what they have fried to take for months would be a huge psychological blow

Getting the Russians to turn tail and run or surrender I am sure is one of their goals

The goal of the UA on Bakhmut was to hold until the Spring offensive. Now there is now way that the Russians can encircle them as they lack the forces and resources to do that. The goal now is just to kill Russians.

The UA will eventually fall back to the nearest of the 3 defense lines toward Chasiv Yar.

Any offensive attack in the Bakhmut direction is not a goal.

Taking Crimea is.

It’s not an attack on Europe.

Of course one has to discount that Ukraine is in Europe to come to that conclusion.

I don’t see the difference having been there. I’ve never been to a more corrupt place than Ukraine. They need to fix their stuff. That said, I don’t care about their war either. They did it to themselves. Not my circus, not my monkeys. Russia isn’t bringing back the union, the west needs to stay out. We have enough very major problems.

A couple of days ago, regarding the bombing of Belogrod: "Lots of possibilities on why or how this happened. I'll post my educated guesswork on today's thread. Hint: most involve stupidity.

Denys: Pilot of the SU-34 thought the bombs installed were gliding bombs ...

Apparently, the pilots are stupid, drunk, or both.

Below is a picture of a ruzzian "glide" bomb.

.

Below is a picture of a ruzzian FAB-500 (General Purpose Bomb).

So, the next question is: Why would the pilot fly over the city of Belogrod to release the bomb?

My guess is he planned it that way.

He needed a visual ground reference to release the bomb. Belogrod was the perfect distance from the target for a glide bomb.

“I’ve never been to a more corrupt place than Ukraine.”

What you say is simply wrong.

List of Corruption by Country:

https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/corruption-rank

RuZZia is far more corrupt by Ukraine.

Don’t disagree just a thought. A Ukrainian counterattack would most likely attract a lot of Russian attention Ned perhaps a weakening of other fronts. My point is one of optics and politics. A reversal of the meager gains which apparently bakmut holds the same value as Berlin in 45 for Putin and any kind of “victory” to sell to the home front would be devastating IMHO. If the forces were so depleted a counter attack there might be possible using limited resources
My 2 cents

US ain’t to shabby on the corruption side just maybe better hid. Just look at the net worth of almost any politician in DC after a few years and then their lovely job opportunities if they leave before 90

Seriously we have joe Biden and the Biden crime family and people talk bout Ukrainian corruption lol

Exactly. Don’t care about Ukraine. Not my problem. I guess your country is all ok though? No issues?

Good point. Maybe it needs to be dealt with and we shouldn’t be worrying about Ukraine.

The kind of corruption the average Joe finds in foreign countries is insignificant to the rankings. It’s not the silly bribes you have to pay the cops, or to get a permit. It’s not the local bureaucrats, or local mobs. It’s the higher level corruption in government, banking, industry, military, etc.

It must have been bizarre for Ukraine, coming out of Soviet style corruption that was (and still is to a point) integral to their culture, then being blasted with western style corruption from the USA and Europe, especially Obama and Biden.

“Tucker Carlson leaves Fox News in wake of Dominion defamation settlement”

I "half joked" on another thread that RT would hire him. Looks like he's already getting offers from Russia.

Russian Clown Soloviev offers Tucker a job

Tell the Europeans that Russia isn’t on the move again, they seem very united in their own interpretation of Russia’s military invasions.

Maybe those 30-some-odd nations know more than you.

Let them deal with it. They don’t seem to know much though. The vast majority have embraced being woke and allowed the Islamic invasion. Shame.

How does that post make sense when ranking the nations of the world for corruption?
