Just think what a direct war with Russia and maybe China to would do to our assets. Nope aiding Ukraine is the smart thing. I cannot conceive of how aiding Ukraine would make us worse with China. Putin is a dangerous aggressor. He may not be as dangerous as Hitler but he is cut form the same. Lets take him out ahead of time.

And some, if not most, of the federal bureaucracy.I'd settler for eliminating half of the general/flag officer slots in the military. Our perfumed princes are out of touch, planning to fight the last war.
The fact that no one was fired over the Afghanistan withdrawal spoke volumes.
