I noticed that, too.
For homework, I suggest that Ms. Wolf review the LAAP-dog media's coverage of President Trump's "very fine people on both sides" quote from Charlottesville.

Good one. Try working in NJ and [still] hearing their deluded stupid Don Lemon talking points. The more the truth is revealed the angrier they become. I argued with them for the last 3 years about Masks, Covid, lockdowns, vaccines, J-6, BLM, Antifa, etc and they really don’t care about the truth. I simply come in, do my work and leave....I figure, they don’t live or vote in my state (PA) so to hell with them. I’ve argued enough and if they don’t see it by now I believe they never will.
Just wait for the over-the-top reaction from the left when he passes. They will want to deify him.

Yes. I categorize her with Bill Maher, Russell Brand, and Matt Taibi, as being at least brave enough to question the orthodoxy of the Left on a semi-regular basis. I'm waiting to see if Tim Robbins pokes his head out too. He seems like lately he's come to think it's okay to have a little divergent opinion from time to time.

Word!
I live in NJ, I know what you are talking about. I was just espousing a wish.
Tucker's reports, and showing just 5 minutes of the J6 tape, (with the Qanon Shaman guy being let in, and led by police), and his interview with the Capital police officer, (a Biden voter, who could not get back up on J6), demonstrates this effect.
"The people" are becoming aware that they have been lied to by their government officials, and will hopefully now look further into what happened.
That said, I appreciate Naomi Wolf's honesty and apology.
A final thought: Anyone who would like to understand what is really going on in our nation, should check out General Michael Flynn's , and Boone Cutler's book -The Citizen's Guide To Fifth Generation Warfare. It is a real eye opener.
Good post, and fair enough.

Look at the number of things she believed to be true only to find out they were lies. THEN she returned time and time again to the same sources instead of looking at the news sources reporting the truth on the issues at the time. And, she will believe the next “awful” thing the corporate media reports about conservatives.
She admits she believes anything her “tribe” reports without looking for the facts. And, she blames others for her believing the false reporting, basically saying “Well, everyone I knew believed it”.
We will see if she really is sorry and has finally learned something, but I’m doubtful given the number of times she has returned to the poisoned well to drink.
You're 1,000% right. I'm having a similar experience after having to be in court yesterday to testify on behalf of a victim of a crime in which a 6-year-old boy was also involved. As a witness to the crime who also intervened, I felt very strongly about asking the judge to disarm the perp and red-flag them here in IL so they can never own a weapon again.
While I found myself struggling and conflicted with the feeling of doing it, the fact that the perp threatened to shoot me IN COURT and it was overheard made it easier.
This morning I finally reconciled my feelings with "it was the right thing to do" because of the perp's behavior and frankly, long record of doing what they did to my friend and his grandson.
Perp was held, his weapons were seized yesterday and I was assured he'd never own a weapon again.
The thing that gives me a sense of ease with asking to have this individual forcibly disarmed and flagged is that had I not, I'd have never been able to live with myself should he actually shoot and kill someone going forward.
So yes, confronting one's own long-held beliefs is painful. I know it. And while some people will question/flame me for what I did, I'm quite comfortable with it.
Some people just shouldn't own weapons, that perp was one of 'em. One of these days he's going to threaten the wrong person and end up looking down a barrel. Hopefully the last thing that goes through his mind is hot, high velocity lead.
He'd absolutley deserve it.
Threaten to shoot me, that's one thing. Threaten to shoot a young boy and his grandfather? That's not a line to cross around me.
Complete, worthless a**holes, all of 'em.
Sort of interesting that Wolf has finally seen the other side of the Democrat Party- the lying, authoritarian, media influencing, bullying, and cheating side of the party. But it’s odd that it took a few minutes of video to turn the trick. This kind of stuff has been going on for decades. The Clintons kicked it off and it went into full swing when they relentlessly attacked George W. Bush, fawned over a useless Barack Obama, and went full-scale war on Donald Trump. Suddenly, now, she’s paying attention?
LOL-—Some pipe dreams identify as wishes. :)
Everything you said before this question, 100% true.
As we get older, we get wiser, more deliberate, and question our assumptions more.
It was just a matter of time and when the evidence is right there before your eyes and undeniable, something just goes ((CLICK!)) and the blinders are removed.

LOL, if you read all the way to the end, you might well have GTS...:)
In my professional life, I have to try and work as hard as I can to be concise, but I absolutely do not outside of there.
I know...but I do love writing, and this is the only place I get to do it...
I am in the same boat as you. There was a time where, if the FBI knocked on my door and wanted to discuss something with me, I would have opened the door, let them in, and even made a cup of coffee for them.
No more.
While I know there are good FBI agents, we cannot safely consider them to be “on our side”, and interacting with them as a law-abiding American can destroy your life.
That was the mistake General Flynn made when Strzok and Pientka came over unannounced to “talk with him”. General Flynn made the same mistake many of us would have made in the past, and assumed that they were “on our side”.
They were, in fact, there to set him up. The bastards.
Well, those days are gone now. And it pains me-and saddens me-to have to face completely up to the fact that my own American government is not my friend.
No more.
