In my mind, RINOs are Republicans that advance the Democrat agenda by whatever means. They have Rs behind their names, but they vote as though they might as well be Ds. Someone can be “hard right” but still advance the liberal agenda, so in my mind, that makes you a RINO.
MTG is a MAJOR disappointment. But with millions flowing through DC, most will grab at the bucks.
A RINO is a person who pretends to be a Republican. Republicans believe in limited government and the Constitutional arrangement of the United States.
If they agree with the national agenda of the Democrats and making the federal government the most senior government of the country, instead of a junior partner to all the states, they are RINO’s.
Anybody who stabs Conservative Republicans, and our country in the back.
Many years ago, a Congressman told my Dad that he should run for office, because that was where people got “healthy”. Those were the guy’s actual words. My Dad turned him down cold. Said he would never take the hit to his integrity to do that. Pretty cool, Dad. Pretty cool.
MTG has blurred the line between patriot and rino.
There are RINOs that are now *owned*, and will be forced to be a patriot, even though they didn’t want to.

I’ve concluded that a rino is a relative term that applies to anyone we don’t agree with. Should they agree later (election year) they might lose the label.

It’s quite easy: If a Republican disagrees with me on an issue, then he’s a RINO and he won’t get my vote, since that proves he’s no different than a Democrat on every other issue.

I believe it means “GOP elite/elitist”. Basically, a republican who views his/her constituents with disdain and derision, seeing them as brainless rubes who are good for nothing but campaign contributions, and deserving of neither respect or honesty.

My definition of RINO:
A RINO is a Democrat who runs for office as a Republican. They would lose if they ran as a Democrat.
