Didn't she previously complain about not being able to find an apartment in DC? If she took 10 or 20 illegals with her to DC and moved them into her place there, it could help highlight the difficulties she's having there.

When a politician says: “she’s in talks with other lawmakers about “figuring out if there are additional federal resources” what they really mean is if there’s enough federal money entering into their pockets they’ll shut up about it.
