Republicans will never learn that if you have not control of the so called moderators then there is no point to having the debate.
Did you notice Fontes brought up the long hold and history of the Mormons in control of Arizona.
Nationwide we have a dem/RINO/GOPe problem but in AZ we have all that AND a Mormon control problem. They won’t give up that control and if they lose it they will do everything they can to get it back.
I didn’t use to have a problem with the Mormon religion but I see now it isn’t just a religion. It’s hugely political as well.

It’s always been a political sex cult since Smith planned to run for President.
Mesa Mormons own AZ Republican party in the last 40 years. Before that they were not that big of a force. Their missionary initiative works: they bring in people from all over, adding to their numbers.
Plus they are no longer regarded as loons. After the ‘60s, all sorts of nutcase cults became prominent and we were told not to judge them.
Mo’s benefitted from that. They’re almost mainstream now. Compared to the Scientologists, they’re positively boring. Just think god lives near Planet Kolob and othe kinky crap like that....
So now they flex their political muscle in AZ more then ever.
As usual the pubbie did a good job, holding his own even though he was outnumbered.
