Maybe the CDC is seeing the handwriting on the wall. After the public outcry from the FBI raid maybe they see a possible demise of the too-powerful three-letter agencies. Time to cool their overreaching jets.
One big issue I see is, I have lost all confidence in the medical establishment. WHO, CDC, the AMA, etc.
Before I figured they were somewhat well intentioned, overall had our best interests in mind, had access to important information.. .
Now, I will not believe a thing they say.
Which is problematic if we DO have a serious hightly contagious deadly plague. I just won’t believe them and many others won’t, either. They have lost our trust. This could be a huge tragedy as well. Jerks.
Yeah, where is the guy who posted the image daily of a man with his head in his butt? Listing all the “deaths,” which in the US I think was doubled by lying.
No daily death updates of all the increased overdoses, suicides, untreated cancers and heart and kidney and other serious problems. . .nor of death caused quickly or slowly by reaction to the shot, of course.
I knew people who had cancer treatments very much delayed. I met someone whose kidney transplant was cancelled. Etc.
Of course it’s over. But there’s no guarantee it’ll stay over. Remember, there’s an election coming up in November. We’ll have to wait until then to see if it stays over.
Yes and our airlines can’t stay staffed due to insufficient numbers of healthy, shot taking pilots and stewards.
Yes it was very traumatizing to have family, church members, bosses, the medical establishment, and the government treat us as a plague on humanity. It was cruel. Very disturbing.
CDC streamlines COVID-19 guidance to help the public better protect themselves and understand their risk
https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2022/p0811-covid-guidance.htm
What is added by this report? To prevent medically significant COVID-19 illness and death, persons must understand their risk, take steps to protect themselves and others with vaccines, therapeutics, and nonpharmaceutical interventions when needed, receive testing and wear masks when exposed, receive testing if symptomatic, and isolate for ≥5 days if infected.
COVID-19 vaccination. COVID-19 vaccines are highly protective against severe illness and death and provide a lesser degree of protection against asymptomatic and mild infection (6). Receipt of a primary series alone, in the absence of being up to date with vaccination* through receipt of all recommended booster doses, provides minimal protection against infection and transmission (3,6). Being up to date with vaccination provides a transient period of increased protection against infection and transmission after the most recent dose, although protection can wane over time. The rates of COVID-19–associated hospitalization and death are substantially higher among unvaccinated adults than among those who are up to date with recommended COVID-19 vaccination, particularly adults aged ≥65 years (5,7). Emerging evidence suggests that vaccination before infection also provides some protection against post–COVID-19 conditions,† and that vaccination among persons with post–COVID-19 conditions might help reduce their symptoms (8). Continuing to increase vaccination coverage and ensuring that persons are up to date with vaccination are essential to preventing severe outcomes.
Are there still government mandates?
Then its not over by a long shot.
Thank god for Photoshop
You're not the only one. My wife and I agree with you completely (she is an internal medicine MD). The "medical machine," as we call it, has lost any and all credibility.
So when will hospitles and doctor offices not require masks.
I doubt these new guidelines will have no influence on the state of Washington in mandating the vax for all state workers.
I’m guessing Inslee won’t be “trusting the science” on this one.
Yeah, I learned a lot. Both about the death virus and my fellow man.
I took Vit D 6000iu daily for years, and for last year Vit C, Zinc and Quercetin. I still got covid... bad.
Been in hospital over 4 months from covid. Came into hospital in a coma and blood test was covid positive. Two weeks later swab test was positive again. They stopped treating me for covid a month after I was in hospital.
Had kidney failure, pneumonia, and a mini stroke on left side of brain ... no damage to right side of body.
However left side of body is severely damaged, lots of severed nerves and lots of muscle loss. Left arm is basically dead, just hangs there. Doctors say only 5% chance of any improvement in left arm. Thankfully I have Jesus. Left leg has some nerve damage and hopefully with more therapy it will be stronger and support me.
Tube came out a month after admission to hospital. My memory only goes back to a few days after tube coming out, so no memories of first month and a few days.
Going to another hospital in a few weeks which is more like a personal care home. It is expensive as is the electric wheelchair with tilt I need. If anyone knows of a really good deal on such a wheelchair please let know. Living on pension, it will be tight. Prayer appreciated ... thanks.
Prayers up!!
Gotta walk it all back as kids are returning to school and the mid-terms are around the corner. Cannot risk alienating the suburban soccer mom vote over masks, lock-downs and remote learning when you need their votes to repel the MAGA hordes.
Don’t worry though. The CDC will be screaming bloody hell for masks and lock-downs just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Thank you Boardwalk. I’m alive because of prayer.
