Andrew probably should have started with smaller ambitions.
I don’t think he has ever held elective office before.
That being said, every campaign that you throw your heart and soul into will be a learning experience. It’s a lot of hard work. Andrew will probably resurface in pursuit of another position.
Zeldin has the Conservative Party nomination as well, so there will be a unified Republican-Conservative ticket. Vote Row C.
Hochul and her Lt. Governor, Antonio Delgado, won the Democrat primary, but (at least as of now) the Working Families Party line belongs to Jumaane Williams and Ana Maria Archila. Hopefully, the WFP stays with them.
Larry Sharpe is running for governor again on the Libertarian line. He go them 90,000 votes last time, which would have made them ballot-qualified, but Cuomo had the rules changed.

Here’s another dream scenario — Lee Zeldin wins the governorship in NY and appoints Andrew as his Lt. Governor.

He’s now a thing.
The governor has already fixed the upcoming election so that she cannot lose. She defied the voters and will use mail in ballots for anyone. Only one possible reason for that.
This is New York. They vote overwhelmingly for the Rats. Not even close. They love their inflation and authoritarian government. Most of them love to be told what to do and willingly comply.
Apparently there’s a lot of people there who aren’t too bright. The smart ones long to leave the state for greener pastures elsewhere.
Andrew certainly made a good pitch.
NYC now has RCV for mayoral elections.
You might want to think about the reason for that.
BTW, I’m willing to bet turnout sucked statewide yesterday.
Not to mention that Albany and local bureaucrats are doing their damndest to screw with state and local elections as well.
Trump didn’t endorse him. He owed Rudy a favor.
The good news is he came in in the top four.
NY is a lost cause. In 1 year, 4 months and 3 days I retire and move out.
What part of the state are you in? My wife has family in Wyoming county (Nunda and nearby towns). She was born in Warsaw.
Ontario County
I believe NY will flip... I think 5 states will flip ME, RI, CT, NY and PA...
....amen, amen.....!!! truer words were never spoke...or whatever that phrase is..... was born, raised and educated in what is now The Peoples Democratic Republic of New York....saw the handwriting on the wall years and years ago and left, relocated to another (conservative...) state, never to return to NY, not even to visit...I wish Mr. Zeldin the best of luck but my money is on Hochul.....
Me too! I am retiring in a little over 4 months from my main job but we have family here and rental property.
Add Wi-
Born and lived in NY a while back. Enlisted after H5-Carter admin- and only returned for business, funeral obligations and maybe 2 family related visits.
Yep. His experience includes washing out as an attempted pro golfer and serving as a lackey in the Trump admin.
With that paltry resume, he still could have taken his big boost from his dad, settled into some GOP pocket in NY, and made it to Congress.
