...her spokesperson and deputy chief of staff, Drew Hamill ... essentially admitted that Pelosi had pushed the child; he gave the explanation that she was trying to push her to make sure that the child got into the picture... What happened to the Democrats’ claims about “bodily autonomy”? This doesn’t look like Pelosi was respecting the child’s bodily autonomy or looking out for the “children, children, children,” as Pelosi always claims. The explanation goes to a deeper point here–that Pelosi thinks she’s entitled to do what she wants. Notice what’s missing in all this ‘explanation’ from Hammill as well: an apology.
