Any vote that results in an infringement on the Second Amendment is a violation of the Oath of Office.
They were elected and took that Oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, not to shred it. If they can’t honor their Oath of Office they are unfit to hold office.

In all fairness, there was a super duper tragedy so he had to take something away from us.

The only silver lining is that the US government CANNOT IMPLEMENT this “red flag law” tyranny, and THEY KNOW IT. Constitutionally, and per SCOTUS (Mack v US), it must be implemented by the individual states. So, the proposed Federal legislation bribes the states to implement ERPOs (red-flag laws).
Only 18 states have them as of now. Thank God my Sweet Home Alabama does not, and likely will not. But next-door Florida— home of America’s best governor— does. God help the good people of Florida, because DeSantis won’t.

No......Trump got the USSC picks he wanted. They were on a list of “excellent prospective picks” for the USSC by his legal advisors. I would like to know who vetted them. I’m not a big McConnell fan, but in this case he gave Trump what Trump ask for.

Like I said up thread, you can beat your chest and pat yourself on the back because of your "fidelity" to conservative issues.
President Trump is not perfect, and he learns. He has proven that.
He has been the fighter that no other GOP member has had the guts to be.
He has taken the insults, and attempts to slime his character like no other GOP member would have the guts to take.
He has fulfilled his word to us, his constituents and bosses like no other GOP office-holder has done in recent memory.
In short, he has earned our respect, honor, and support in Spades.
You go ahead and keep pounding your chests and patting yourselves on the back, but in real terms, your behavior is more akin to the Scribes and Pharisees from the Bible as Jesus so clearly stated in Mathew 23:23-24:
23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You pay tithes of mint, dill, and cumin. But you have disregarded the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.
24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

[Will NRA update it’s ratings for these 14 traitors and ask for the millions they gave back? Or, thank them as they raise even more money off their treason?]
I’d be surprised if they received as much as a million, combined. Bloomberg alone spends several times more money than the NRA on gun banners. Plutocrats and pols on both sides of the aisle love gun bans. They live in safe areas and many have bodyguards, so they have no fear of street crime. What they fear is assassination - hence the focus on long arms.

That applies to pretty much all gun laws. That’s why it’s such a nightmare being a 2nd fan, always one news story away from the government taking away (from the left, center, or right) your rights. You can’t rely on it from one day to the next, what they’ll decide to let you have or not.

But you purists can beat your chests and pat yourselves on the back because of your fidelity to your principles, even if it would cost the rest of us to lose effective representation at the Federal Level. Now there is something to be proud of!You will be proud when Congress is filled with McCains, Grahams, and Romneys....because they will protect us from the Democrats!

You certainly have a messianic complex with Trump. Need to face it, even oz is ditching him cause he knows Trump is toxic as hell in PA.
To: Oak007
No, you are just wrong. mcconnell was throttling Trump all along. Plus mcconnell was part of the whole Russia, Russia, Russia; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine nonsense. Add to that mcconnell supports the 1/6 unselect committee, anything to damage Trump. mcconnell had full control over all Trump’s appointments. Just look at the doj/fbi picks. Trump was in a box when it came to appointments.

Dr Oz has already dumped Trump and removed any mention oof Trump from his webpageNot totally true. Dr Azz did clean his home page by removing Trump, but kept Trump on the Endorsements page.
Let's be honest and fair and not behave like Democrats or RINOs.
It does not change that Dr Azz is a crappy candidate.

No, not even close.
However, you, inadvertently, have just made my point for me.
Not all states/districts are bright red so that you can endorse a candidate that completely satisfies your sense of principles.
In some states/districts you have to go for the win, not a complete match to your principles.
Trump is a good political leader and businessman because he understands this concept.
Too bad more of us don't understand this.

Trump is wrong. This isn’t the first step. There were at least a thousand other steps before this one. (”Steps” = unconstitutional laws.)

Yes, you are correct. And sometimes, the only GOP candidate that can win in certain purple States/Districts is that crappy candidate.

I do understand that Trump was effectively more of a gun grabber than even obama. Trump was ok, and the obvious pick over Hillary. But he’s too old for just one thing at this point. DeSantis is a far, far better candidate as it looks now.
