Time to test laser to see if it can blank out satellites lens but not destroy it so they think their work is not fail safe?.

Plus, the ship doesn’t look like a Ford or Nimitz class.

The bridge looks a lot like CVN 70, with updated RF/RADAR up top.
And aren’t those F-18s and a Hawkeye on deck?

The Vinson is CINCPAC. Odd that it would take shore leave in NYC.

The Vinson’s island is a tad different than the one depicted in the photo, but otherwise similar.
