Way cool!
Oh yeah, they’ve really whipped inflation.
So now it’s running faster than ever before and NO hurdle they put up will be able to stop it from trampling our economy into the ground!
That said, while Gerald Ford was no great shakes as Chief Executive, he did serve his country, and no doubt loved his country. And even he was better than Carter, even in a more difficult spot.
Carter was a Presidential train wreck, and Biden is like Carter without even his level of intelligence.
On an interesting side, I found this picture some years ago of Gerald Ford, playing basketball aboard the USS Monterey...(he was the "physical fitness officer") that is him on the left with the light hair...
And take his girlfriends Kamala Harris and
Nancy Pelosi with him. Oh, and don't forget
that bird-brain redhead Psaki.
Rick Scott captured it perfectly when he said Biden was “unwell”.
With te skyrocketing cost of food do you really think burning corn to power a car is a good idea?
You’re right. Carter was ‘stagflation’... Freepers are great - rlmorel caught it too. Thanks guest.
Needs to be a law.
Social security can not be cut unless first they cut welfare, food stamps, section 8 housing.
The federal government shall give social security an equal increase before any federal agency gets a increase in spending
Ethanol is corn based. Bio-butanol is not. Rather it is based on algae or agri-waste (corn stalks, sawgrass, etc)
Further, n-butanol is very close (within 3%) to gasoline in it’s energy content than Ethanol (roughly only 90% of gas).
I actually met Gerald Ford when he was House Minority Leader.
I was part of a small Republican student group who visited DC at that time.
We were fortunate enough to talk to ten or so prominent Republican leaders (with at least fifteen minutes meetings with each). All of these folks spoke to us without notes and without aides whispering in their ear—and we covered a wide variety of topics with no advanced notice on what they would be.
I was very impressed with the intelligence and knowledge of everyone we met—except Gerald Ford.
The man was stunningly stupid.
We could not believe he was Minority Leader—or even a Congressman for that matter.
I have more comments on him as well—you can private mail me if you want to hear them since I am drifting off topic.
