This talk from the left—That Putin will invade Poland or the Baltics makes me laugh. Putin inept military can’t get Ukraine how could they ever beat any NATO state? Putin aint Hitler. The Russian Army isn’t the Nazi Blitzkrieg. He’s going nowhere fast. Look to see the Ukraine start to invade Russia now. Take back the lost lands. Tanks that once ruled the battlefield are valueless—like armored knights of old—relics of another age. Drones rule now—as we will discover in the coming war with China.

Fundamentally the left doesn’t believe in democracy.

They thought Putin style authoritarianism was much better than our system and thus overestimated the Russian military.

“I expect these numbers to spike in the next couple of days. The Ukrainians are finding a lot of broken and abandoned equipment left behind as Russia retreats.”

Looks like you will be right.

Tank losses already up to 375 from 362 when I posted earlier today.

Tanks don’t go very fast, Russian troops may just abandon them and hop in a truck to get to Belorussia as fast as possible.

I just read on another thread that all those loses are part of the Russian military’s grand master plan. To the “uneducated” the Ukrainian countryside turning into a Russian military junkyard looks like Russia isn’t doing well. But as every “real” military strategist knows, the best way to win a war is to allow your enemy to destroy large amounts of your men and equipment until they are lured into a sense they are winning. Then…and this is the coup de grace…you retreat. In an unorganized fashion and leave even more men and equipment behind as you go. Shear brilliance.
