Most of us believed ‘Harris would be worse.” However, that’s in doubt.

The question will be whom would be the most ineffective with Rs running the house and senate. Biden or Harris ? Tough call.

Biden—with a disastrous record —would be easiest to pummel into silence. An emboldened Harris might try to use executive order to finish the job. Very scary.

Staffing ? Harris doesn’t have one since most have resigned. Biden’s team would attempt to run the show.

Fascinating but frightening future.

“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power”

Biden, that is.

If Biden opposes removal by his VP and a majority of his Cabinet, then both houses of congress must vote by 2/3rds majority to remove. That’s a higher bar than removal by impeachment as only a simple majority on the House need vote ‘yes’ for it to go to the Senate.

Biden will oppose any move Harris makes. And I’m trying to imagine how Harris would have much pull with Biden’s cabinet.

Impeachment is nothing without 67 votes in the Senate to actually remove him from office. Otherwise we’ll just get a defiant post-impeachment speech from Biden against the GOP, and the media piling on with vicious attacks.
Biden’s poll numbers will go up and the business of destroying the country will resume as before.

This is not even difficult.

You make this a national issue and you continue and hammer on it and you expose the Democrats for not caring about the country.

You exposed a whole lot is fake Psaki, Pelosi, Biden on down

The whole operation is fake.

Did they say we’re not going to Impeach Trump because we don’t have the Votes to Convict?

?

"Wasn’t going to happen then, won’t be happening now

That was Ds attempting to remove R-Trump. This case may be different if Ds realize dumping Joe is their only salvation., of which we're hearing hints from Ds that, indeed, Joe's gotta go. Ds would never vote to impeach one of their own, but they might happily "convince" him to resign for health reasons.

I maintain that the cover-up of Hunter's laptop has been the knife at his throat and that knife is getting sharper of late.

No, it would further weaken Impeachment which they will do twice to he next Republican candidate.

If you don’t fight, I guarantee you will lose

> To impeach Harris there would have to be an offense of some type. <

Interestingly enough, the House has the absolute power to decide just what the “crime” is. And there is no appeal. Benjamin Franklin even once remarked that a president could be impeached simply for being rude.

So, for example, the House could legally impeach Harris just because she came to work late one day. Call it “abuse of office”, or whatever.

But as others here have noted, the real trick is getting 67 votes in the Senate to convict.

Nope, nobody reads the 25th Amendment, not people on the left who wanted to remove Trump with it, nor people on the right who want to remove Biden with it.

And for some reason they think Carl Albert was Ford's VP. ;-P

Biden’s losing it... but would Harris be any better? Or maybe much worse? If it weren’t for the Nuclear football I’d favor just leaving him in office.

What’s your take Liz?

This was put in place for a President who “strokes” out and is permanently incapacitated. Unless Biden is completely out of it, nothing is going to change.

“next 30 days”

Primaries begin in April and may indeed start this ball rolling.

Observe how the Dems fight.

Hammer him with the 25th Amendment and make them use their capital to combat it.

You expose their whole Operation as fake - and dangerous to the Country.

It’s the ‘devil you know, versus the devil you don’t” scenario.

An emboldened Harris could be disastrous, versus a senile and very unpopular Joe with a heavy R Congress.

Ds will force him to resign after a Nov. ‘22 disaster and no interest in another in ‘24.

The House cannot vote to remove, only vote to impeach; only the Senate has the power to remove.

The 25th Amendment requires “the cabinet” to initiate the removal from office. But there is no way they will do that as long as Harris is VP. This raises the question:

What Democrat, in the eyes of conservatives, could become the new VP, and not be a screwball radical?

Maybe Manchin or Sinema?

Seriously, who else?

For impeachment, yes.

We aren't talking about impeachment here.

This is about the 25th Amendment, which is more difficult to implement than impeachment.

"If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President."

Technically, it isn't 2/3rds for 'removal' per-se, but 2/3rds of each House declaring that the President is unable to discharge his duties, so the VP will continue to exercise those powers. 'Removal' = shorthand for "not acting as President any longer."

The American people knew best, they rejected Joe Biden and elected Donald Trump in 2020. Now, the cabal that made the catastrophic decision to reject the American people and install an unelected President, Joe Biden, are in a real pickle. I think there is a good chance as this unfolds, the truth will come out.
