Did you actally see where she had an opportunity to protest or hit back? I am glad it was caught on video as now it can be used in court to take the big bully to jail and follow up with prison for juveniles.
Imho - continuing to beat on an unconscious victim ? For anyone else, that looks like attempted murder. I pray that girl is taken out of school and arrested, I dont know the background, for surely, its not self defense.

When I was in the 5th grade an 8th grader was beating up a 4th grader in the school yard. When I saw that I dived in and tried to get the hulking 8th grader off the 4th grader. I wasn’t big enough to make a difference actually. But I tried. Eventually a teacher came and then the Prinicpal

All three of us were hauled off to his office. The Principal kept the 8th grader out while he chewed on the little kid and me...his final remark to me after telling me he had called my parents, “I can tell you are a trouble maker girlbecause... look at your shoes. They are scuffed and unclean.”
My Mom came and picked me up. Before we left she asked just who started the problem and the teacher and little boy said the big boy did...my Mom turned to the Principal and told him he should get his facts straight and, by the way, his shoes didn’t look too hot, either. With that said she and I went home where she cleaned me up, put iodine on lesions and told me she was very proud of me, that no child should beat up on another. Period.
An extreme outlier. From my entire life, I can count on literally one hand all those I’ve come across who were’t thieves, murderers, dope dealers, liars, sub 80 IQ, rapist or felons.

You are chastising the wrong person. I have been in the middle of situations far more threatening than this one. I often thank God that I am still alive after all the stupid situations that I have gotten myself in the middle of.
There was only one student being aggressive in this situation not 30... No one made any attempt to do anything meaningful to stop this beating. I have never been more disgusted with a “teacher” in my life.
I am sorry for you. I interpret your post as indicating that you find yourself paralyzed by fear in many types of situations. It would be deeply embarrassing to me, but it is good that you know your limitations. People like you should just get out of the way; they often make decisions that cause others to get hurt or killed.
Congratulations and thank you for putting yourself at risk to help others. This was not even a fight, just one girl viciously attacking another. The one being attacked didn't lift a finger to defend herself. One hard smack from behind and some loud yelling and the fat bully girl would most likely have run off crying.

Off duty martial arts training in Shorinji Kempo, Hapkido, Shotokan Karate, and a smidgeon of Wing Chun Kung Fu. Training routinely included sparring with protective equipment.
But primary knowledge comes from my mother’s second husband. He was a stocky Mexican American who was a Golden Gloves boxer prior to WWII and a US Army paratrooper in Europe during the war. He demonstrated to me exactly how well protected a shorter fighter is when he is in a crouching protective stance and the blows of the opponent (the ones that are not being blocked) are being deflected off of the arms, shoulders and top of the head. Although I was taller and had a longer reach, from above he was nothing but a bobbing and weaving mound of muscle, a well protected pair of eyes boring straight through you, and two hardened fists under the control of a lot of experience closing in for the kill. He as a tiger on the hunt even in middle age.
The girl wasn’t in such a stance but, as I described it, all her vital areas were similarly protected. Seated and bent over, the desk protected her front and face, her hands clasped over the back of her head protected her neck and the vulnerable lower back of her skull; her back and her arms are muscle covered bone.
The criminal girl’s attack consisted of poorly directed flailing blows with a number coming in from the side. Bigger (boobs and otherwise) doesn’t count as much if you are too upset to deliver an effective attack.
So personal experience, training, and the ability to observe and apply acquired knowledge. That’s the basis for what I wrote.

The teacher reacted but to little to late. Taught in 7th grade and only had to help break up one fight. After it was over one of the girls who witnessed the fight told me.” Ms. Ware you looked like an Oreo cookie.”

It looked like a white on Asian violence to me.
When two girls get into fight like, it’s usually over a guy. The aggressor likes a guy, but the guy likes the other girl. So, the first girl assaults the second girl to make her less attractive to the guy.
