Political theater in my opinion(humble). Meant to distract the propagandist media. With the lying media smothering us with bs about the “insurrection”...someone had to create a big stir to get the media off their anti trump, anti patriot, conservative mischaracterizations. Note: statement made 1/5...explanation 1/6....coincidence?
So Cruz explained his “gaffe”...and went after the democrats....for a longer period of time than his mea culpa...Cruz did chose his words wisely....they were meant to create a deniable stir. My humble opinion.
Ted, when you’re in a hole, maybe you should stop digging.
The damage is done and you own it. Accept it.
Ted Cruz is now an official member of the Washington Swamp, whose members have perfected the art of speaking out of both sides of the mouth.
At least Cruz was man enough to come on and take the heat. Darned few progressives will do so.
You’re finished
I saw it. I do not.
T.Cruz is either the biggest fool on the planet, or a loyal
patriot in allowing himself be used in such a fashion.
Frankly, believe the patriot version is only wishful thinking. His antics in transforming himself into NBC have
certainly made the fool reference more pronounced.
Eh? Ted, what say you?
Does Cruz routinely call people who attack cops terrorists? If he does, I’m willing to give him a slight benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was just being consistent. Even so, characterizing any part of what happened on Jan. 6 as a terrorist attack was just about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen Cruz do. He’s well aware of the political climate and how the Democrats and the media will misconstrue anything any Republican says to use it as a political weapon. I’m thinking of Trump’s “fine people” comments where Trump specifically excluded neo-nazis and others of that ilk. That didn’t matter to his enemies. They went full on with the lie that Trump called neo-nazis fine people. Cruz knows the game, and he should have known better.
Liar.
