My prayers go out to you and your family during this stressful time imposed by our government.

I would suggest you contact a trustworthy attorney and spend a few hundred dollars to help with your documentation.

I remember full well where I was in my career when I was 37 years old with 15 years of service at the corporation I had chosen as the place I would work until retirement.

Frankly, I am not sure what I would have done given the situation so many employees in your age group are facing today.

It is easy for us ‘old farts’ to pontificate as to how brave we would be and how we would stand our ground. It is quite another thing to face the real prospect of being fired from a job when you are 38 years old with all of your future plans have been based upon having that job and future promotions until normal retirement age.

REALITY CHECK
Opposition hints at a willingness of some Democratic senators to buck the White House on an

At the confirmation hearing for this blockheaded jerk,
the irrepressible Sen Kennedy asked if he should address her as “comrade”?

Correct as well as funny.

Though honestly, the hysteria started under previous POTUS. And was not reined in.

Agreed. I know a lot of people who have though. Mostly out of fear either for the virus or losing their jobs.

Many of them are regretting their decision now. Others are in denial.

Yes, Trump overreacted, and the current administration doubled down on it.

The pen is said to be mightier than the sword, but the middle finger is mightier than Biden’s pen.

We’ll probably test that sword theory next if he keeps using his dick-tator pen to push us/US around and make us do his will.

What, the shipyard can’t find enough skilled illegals to build their ships?

We have plenty of illegal aliens available to hire unless they don't care to forgo their welfare benefits.

I work at a shipyard in Florida. The owner has said there will be no vax requirement. The yard has a large military contract that it will lose if the mandate is forced, either if the company tries to force it or if the company refuses. If the mandate is implemented half to two thirds of the work force will quit If the mandate is required and if refused the contract will be cut off. Either way the yard goes under. The owner has other shipyards that will not be affected. We are all counting on the Courts and our governor’s ban on mandates.
