There were 7 Churches in the first century, situated around Europe and the Near East. Revelations calls them out for their errors at the time, so that they may be reconciled with the one true church.
So the Ephesian churches reconciled with the Thessalonian churches which reconciled with the Catholic churches, which reconciled with the Baptist churches, etc. etc. etc.
Yes.. I can see your right about that.. I didn't see that at first.. Why do people distort the truth when things are bad enough as they are..

If you read any Church History you would know that as the Church spread and grew, there were several districts who fell into error such as the Arian Heresy and the Nestorian Heresy.
They were eventually corrected and returned to the true teachings, although Arianism had to be put down several times.
