When you stop caring the whole exercise of spectator sports becomes pointless. That’s the way I feel about the Olympics in general. The only entertainment are stories like this.

First time in my 55 years that I have rooted against a US team in the olympics.
I hope they lose the bronze too. They don’t deserve the endorsement $$.
We’ve now entered a period in history where many Americans, myself among them, actively root for US teams to lose. Megan Rapinoe doesn’t represent me in any way. She keeps saying she hates people like me, and I believe her. The hell with her and any team she’s on.
In their first game at the Olympics, three of the women soccer players at least stood for the flag while the others bent their knees in disgust. It is my understanding that today, all of them kneeled. I have no use for any of them and hope they lose badly in the Bronze Medal competition. They don’t represent my country, its flag or me.
Just like the English Men’s team kneeled before games in the Euros. So glad Italy beat them.
Subway sandwiches hired her as a spokesman. I bet it pays very well hating America.
Rapinoe could improve her play dramatically by removing her foot from her mouth ... foot in the mouth hinders play.
Anything below bronze would be poetic
