Why are some Freepers afraid to NOT get the shot?
An experimental injection with no history, no accountability for the companies, no idea on the severity of future problems, and no FDA approval. That isn’t fear. It’s logic.
Afraid is an inappropriate word in this circumstance.
Many freepers feel the risk outweighs any potential benefit. There have been lies, misinformation, emerging issue and an overall sense that this injection is imperfectly tested.

My mom and dad got the first Pfizer shot. Within a week she went from a healthy active person in her mid 80s going to the YMCA every night to an invalid who cannot make it from her room to the master bathroom a few steps away without assistance. It has now been many weeks and I am still not sure if she is going to make it. Every time we see her she seems to be a little worse.
My younger brother got the first Pfizer shot. He is in his mid 50s and has always been very active and healthy. He has been a captain for a major airline for many years. He now has an “inflamed” heart and is looking at mandatory retirement for medical reasons.
My younger sister had the Moderna shots. She has had a serious flare up with arthritis and other medical problems that caused her to not be able to drive.
I worked for years as one of the heads of a large Hazmat team. I have had ten times more vaccinations than most people on this forum with no complications. I would not touch these experimental vaccines with a ten foot pole. Many of my former coworkers and subordinates feel the same way. The more informed you are the more insecure you feel about the safety of these vaccines.

I can’t speak for all, but it dawned on me during the Covid flu just how corrupted everything has become. FBI, Congress, largest banks fined record amounts, all three letter agencies, corrupted election, corrupted CDC, EPA, DOJ, DOD, DOS, corrupted public officials, many of the “ new “ churches, this “ President “ and his entire supporters, …..the “ zeal” in jabbing every one , especially children who only get sniffles is frightening and sinister, especially when the Covid flu is by CDC stats 99.9 percent survivable……and now there is near 20,000 recorded dead from the vaccines ( 6,000 in US, EU reports 14,000)…..and that number is climbing as we will be entering the longer term question. Does that answer why I would refuse an experimental vaccine?….I can go on….many Americans have been played.
Intelligence and the ability to sniff out a con is my guess.
The insinuation in your reasoning of why so many FReepers don't get the vaccine, is the innuendo or assumption that they are "afraid" to get the shot.
I am not getting the shot but I am not afraid. I am not uninformed. I am not waiting for some motivation or financial incentive.
I am not getting the shot simply because I don't want to. I don't have to give any other explanation than that. It is my choice.
People like you can judge others but you are just looking for a reason to justify your own point of view.
It’s not “so many” - it’s the same handful of noisemakers. There are valid reasons to be concerned with getting this or any vaccine or medical treatment that requires injection or ingestion - you can be severely allergic to its ingredients, and the spike protein is one of the things about COVID19 that makes it dangerous...the vaccines have them appear - though in much lower concentrations than an infection.
But the stuff most of these noise makers post is just bat crap crazy nonsense indicating zero basic knowledge of biology. They don’t know what a virus even is, let alone mRNA, ribosomes, etc. But they comment on it anyway, seemingly unphased by how objectively nonsensical and deranged some of their comments are.
It is not fear - but conviction.

I’ve had most vaccines — flu, pneumonia, shingles, etc.
I’ve had cancer.
I’ve had three joint replacements.
I was in the hospital for six months when I was 10 in a full body cast, flat on my back.
I give myself shots every day.
You think I’m AFRAID of the FauciFlu shot(s)? Too bad you don’t have an internal filter to catch stupid stuff after it leaves your brain and ends up in your typing fingers.
An inadequately tested serum, created by people with probably nefarious intentions, with who-knows-what ingredients (most likely murdered babies’ cells) ... seriously?
