Expected the shield to make this list... probably the only issue with this one is capacity. At 7 or 8 round mag, it’s a little low capacity... Statistics show on average it takes 3 hits to disable a suspect in law enforcement involved shootings and the police miss about 60% of their shots fired on average. At 7-10 rounds depending on how you choose to load it you are at the absolute minimum to stop someone if you are able to shoot as well as a typical LEO in a high stress situation. Odds are you won’t.

Taurus as a brand has been plagued with reliability issues for years. Though some claim some of their newer designed guns have been more reliable, they are cheap.. but other than that surprised by this choice. If looking for a DA/SA there are other choices.
