I don’t think he’ll even run.
This is quite unlikely, since Trump will undoubtedly replace Pence with a different VP for 2021-2024, thus Pence would have been out of office 4 years, and not have the advantage of incumbency.
I have no doubt the GOP will nominate him in a return to the “next in line” history of the GOP. He will finish 3rd in a general election.
Pence never was going to run for President IMHO.

I was for DeSantis over Pence even before 1/6.
Pence is solid, but not exciting. People quickly forget his strong, methodical debate performances. Knows his stuff, stays calm and lands some solid jabs. Frankly, his debate this time turned the corner after a couple bad weeks. Trump followed his lead and used a similar style in the second debate very successfully.
He’s not exciting enough to win a primary or general though.

I was never on board with him running before last week.
