Always useful to pay attention to the subject... as the bait and switch is usually designed to work as a throw-away that enables directing others in avoiding the actual subject.
Whoever it was on the Lolita Express, before it was the Lolita Express... clearly has nothing at all to do with Roberts performance in office ? It cannot be an explanation for, or the “real reason” for his very peculiar behavior. But, clear enough, is that arguing about something that isn’t actually the subject... is being used to dispose of the actual subject: Robert’s performance is a problem.
Perhaps it is simply a problem of cowardice ?
Lawyers and judges ARE being threatened.
It’s a parallel like the Obama birth certificate issue, which was a lure entirely created by Hillary Clinton. Those arguing about it beyond the Democrat primaries missed the point... that what Obama’s birth certificate proved WAS NOT that he “wasn’t a citizen”, or “wasn’t born in the U.S.”, but that he WAS NOT a natural born citizen... and thus he was in fact Constitutionally ineligible to the office. Yet, herds of people lined up to harp on the birth certificate issue... when it didn’t matter a whit. It was well postured for that very purpose ? And it WORKED in distracting people from what did matter ? What mattered was that Obama’s father was not an American... but a British subject... which was true no matter where he was born.
The opposition will always be creating straw men... and the better they work, the more they get away with, the more they will create.
I suggest you don’t waste time chasing them... without also pairing the effort made in debunking them WITH effort in the object lesson: showing how straw-men are created and used as distractions that waste your effort, cornering you into losing arguments.
