Is that true? No vote in person? What if we have not gotten a ballot?
Oh, Ventura. I am moving from LA to CARPINTERIA!!!!
We’ll be neighbors!
Texas Gator
Where can I get the page for places to drop my vote in Los Angeles?
Thank you!
We do? Do you know how I find my polling place?
OXNARD!!!! Cool!
I DOOO hear you Trump Girl Kit Cat!!!!
Are the ballots numbered or identifiable?
We havent looked at the CA propositions yet because we have been out of CA most of the year.
Our general rule of thumb is to vote NO on all propositions. Are there any that we should vote YES?
Of course, not many years ago, every paper ballot was dropped into a box and carried away.
I too want my vote to be in the box on election day. I asked NOT to be sent a mail in ballot (online) but it came anyway. I checked on the SOS site and it says I can hand the unmarked mail ballot to the poll worker in exchange for a ballot which I immediately fill out and drop in the box. NOT a provisional ballot, those are saved aside and opened only in rare cases. Folks be sure to ask for a real ballot and bring your mail ballot for exchange. I rendered my mail in ballot useless just in case someone wants to mess with it. This IS California.
Jarvis says NO on all props except 22. They are a good resource (HJTA)
Thanks. Just looked up 22 and it should be a “YES.”
I believe the GOP is recommending a no vote on all propositions. Except the Uber one.
There are some important no votes here. One proposition is chiseling away prop 13, needs a no. Another is reestablishing affirmative action, needs a no. Very important.
Next election Id like to see a proposition re establishing mandatory sex offender status for adults having sex with minors, with the Romeo/Juliet (ugh) still in place. Ten year difference is too long it is possible as a 24 year old to do a 14 year old
My wife used our standard practice of “NO” on all props. She hadn’t read 22 before she voted straight “NO.”
I’ll go “YES” on 22 and “NO” on the rest.
