I watched a program last night called WW II in HD, narrated by Gary Sinise.

In the first episode, an Austrian Jew named Hans "Jack" Werner chose to escape to America soon after the Nazis annexed Austria. Werner later became a 1st Sgt in the American army during WW II.

He said that almost immediately after Hitler took over Austria, he and his family's bank accounts were frozen.

My wife, who was also watching the program, said the exact same thing that I was thinking. In today's digital banking scheme, this could happen to all of us (including our IRAs, 401Ks, and stocks) in a matter of minutes should the powers that be deem it so.

According to US Debt Clock:

"Household Assets" in the US equal almost $105 Trillion. These include Real Estate, Financial Instruments such as Deposits, Stocks and Bonds, Life Insurance and Pension funds.

I'm pretty sure this is what the Left wants to seize from Americans.

They don't care if we already paid $40 Trillion in TAX dollars into Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" programs to help poor historically-disadvantaged Americans - or that 700,000 Americans died in the Civil War to end Slavery. Nor do they care if most Americans migrated to the country to escape oppression - or if Republicans consistently opposed Slavery - or if locals in Africa were complicit in facilitating slavery occurring in selected regions of the United States, not the "entire" country. Nor do they care that many recent US immigrants of various colors came here from socialist countries in recent decades -- where state-run Slavery is a way of life.

My Plan: work on my shooting skills this summer and preparing to get my concealed carry permit....
