I didn't know until recently that Joe retired from Congress a few months after Klausutis's death, supposedly to "spend more time with his children." The timeline isn't clear to me, but he also got married to his second wife in the same year.

Then there was this on Don Imus's show:

“Don’t be afraid to be funny, because you are funny. I asked you why you aren’t in Congress. You said that you had sex with the intern, and then you had to kill her,” Don Imus said. Scarborough laughed, “Yeah, well, what are you gonna do?”

Curiously, all mention of Lori Klausutis has been scrubbed from Scarborough's Wikipedia page, even though Wikipedia had supposedly worked out a fair and neutral way of referring to the incident a few years ago. It's all a little suspicious.
