That was true for the first two weeks, maybe even the first four or six. But we are now on day #60, starting week #8 and that ship has long since sailed.
In New York, two-thirds of the new cases are from people already shut in and locked down. In South Korea, most of the new cases are from a certain demographic having unnatural sex acts with multiple strangers. A longer lockdown will address neither root cause.

Of course it’s politically motivated. A poor economy in November almost guarantees a Democrat sweep. That is exactly what the networks and DR. Fauci want. That he is aiding them with his over abudance of caution and his clinging to an inaccurate forecast model as his excuse, are obvious to anyone with a brain.
His latest is a warning not to reopen schools in the fall.

They want to blame Trump for every death post-shutdown. This is more important than bankrupting the nation to them so they have focused on creating a narrative and driving a wedge between Trump and the experts.
Trump was very smart to put them front and center in the press conferences. We all heard what they were telling him, but with hindsight and as the fog of war is clearing it is beyond obvious that we need to open the country back up ASAP as their dire, one-size fits all approach, was wrong.

This was no pandemic. It was a narrative intended to focus people on an invisible and indestructible enemy in order to crash the economy and hasten the progressive takeover. It has been hyped by the media and government employees at all levels as well as teachers.
Simple. There are only a few “terrorist” boogeymen they can use on the electorate. The Deep State has been losing the element of fear, then along comes a manufactured problem that they immediately attempted to use for political gain. With plans to push for “vaccines” and reap major profits from big pharma, they lionize Dr. Fauxi and Dr. Scarf. As long as they keep pushing the LIE, they will get a place at the trough.
Sadly this shows how much power the MSM still holds in its ability to frame a false narrative and cause panic in the population. My bet is they will still be talking about a second wave until or if a Democrat wins in November.
To show Trump destroyed the economy......the success he had before the virus would have given Trump a landslide victory...so the media propagandist arm of the Demorat party will certainy throw fire on the economy issue and reveal temselves as the great rescuers....via whatever ticket they eventually run.
My hunch is that millions of Democrat small business owners will be thankful Trump wanted them to open and save their businesses. Millions of suburban women will be happy Trump let the kids return to school in the Fall.
They want to use this and the restrictions around it to generate an armed insurrection that they can blame on trump and cause the United States to lose our entire form of government.
They are trying desperately to overwhelm our governmental system. I don’t think this is gonna turn out the way they’re hoping. Surprise surprise democrats do stupid things.
