PA is a very divided state, and there is a lot of corruption. "People of Pa" did not vote for this creep. Some did. Others of us are stuck with their stupidity.

Left PA three years ago to move to TN. I don’t miss it one bit, other than still having some family up there. With Philly on one side, and Pittsburgh on the other; plus the influx of people from NY and Jersey, and it’s largely a doomed state. Barring some major shift, the current direction will not change.

I moved out of the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area, and there are too many up there that are more interested in sports than what goes on in the nation or even their own state as long as the bars are open, the sports are on, and the casino is open.

Republican officials now find it convenient to stand up against and defy the governor. Where were they when this got started?

It’s all about testing which way the wind blows.

Had a business acquittance while living in R.I. who couldn't stand going to that area on business because of the mindset of the people there. Way too backward.

In addition to the Cumberland County Sheriff's office not cooperating with the Governor, the Cumberland County Commissioners (governing body of Cumberland County) are currently considering defying the Governor's insane edicts.

What remains unclear (at least to me) is whether the PA State Police will try to enforce in these counties or not. And if so what response would occur.

The PA state police commissioner was appointed by Gov. Wolf. Crap rolls downhill. My guess is that the PA state police who choose not to enforce the governor's edicts would be charged with insubordination and risk their job and pension. For many if not most people, their job and pension trump bucking their command structure.

We used to laugh that the Wyoming Valley was a giant soul-sucking machine. Anyone that stayed there too long would never escape. Yet alot of the locals there act like its a cultural epicenter. Aside from family, and a few pizza places; it's not somewhere we even enjoy going back to.

I lived for 7 yrs. 45 minutes west of Wilksbarre......in that community it was divided by one of the main streets......everything on the west side were ethnic groups, mainly Polish and Italians with their own clubs and churches. We loved going there because always great food and every weekend someone had a church carnival......On the West side it was pretty boring and uneventful.

...But on occasion we'd go to the ‘Woodlands’ in Wilksbarre for an evening out. At that time it was a fun place to go. But I haven't returned to the area for many years.
