What this episode should prove to any sentient being is that any emergency is an occasion for extra-Constitutional behavior by government - and that is exactly what Democrats in power like about it.

And that in an emergency the government - far from being a synonym for “society” - will exploit and dominate society.

We pay Congressmen $178,000. per year to play politics with taxpayer’s money. They will do and say anything to keep those cushy jobs.

They are more like athletes - they make more money from their endorsements than from their salaries. $178K is a puny amount of money in DC, compared to what can happen when you vote to help the "right" people.
