Praying continually for Rush. Many years ago he saved my mind, and I became a conservative. It’s the least I can do.
Today was a rough day for Rush
He got called out....I didn’t disagree with the caller who like me is a 30 plus years daily listener
I turned it off....it was uncomfortable
He ain’t long for the world ....I don’t blame Rush for underestimating the vileness of the GOPe
He likely got to close to them...the Bushes for sure
It happens
This faith in the Republican Party has served all of us very poorly
I am done with them....they are worse than the Dems
On October 20th Rush told us he was terminal
I will never forget that show the remainder of my days
The drugs are not helping per his own words
Prayers are well and good but I’m just posting this for freepers who may not be aware of this
Unless I’m uninformed of something new he’s now in palliative care
It’s a miracle he’s still doing his show
I’m disgusted in his final days he’s having to see what he’s seeing and his lament what we....he in particular ..could have done different to thwart this
It’s so unfair
Rush...and I admittedly diverge with him on a few major points ..along with Magnus and Trump are the triumvirate of conservative influence the last half century
He’s a legend rightfully so. When he goes off air ....we’ll...it wil be a different world for many
The only stand ins he has I like are Steyn and the unknown guy from Little Rock
Most of the others are just neocon GOPe usual horseshite
I became a conservative convert in ‘98 because of Rush. No looking back. Thanks, man.
God Bless Rush Limbaugh, for He Is and always will be a Christian Patriot!
Rush is my age and have faithfully listen since 1988. I think the same way Rush does on most every subject. He has taught me so mush about how politics work. People I meet seem to be political morons and I have to thank Rush for teaching me so well. My energy is drained knowing Rush is fighting for life.
I’ve been listening to elRushbo since 1988. Bob Grant was on NY talk radio since 1970. In Rush’ first book, The Way Things Ought to Be he credited Grant’s pioneering work as one reason for his own success. Continued prayers for Rush! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I recommend listening to the whole 3 hours. He analyzes Trump's 4 minute speech about the pork bill and said it should be studied in master level communication classes. I analyzed who he chose as his last callers. I wished to understand what his perhaps last messages to us would be.
I believe his reflection on Lou Gehrig's farewell will be replayed and immortalized. Please hear it for yourself.
I will always be haunted by his anguish that after devoting his entire career to persuading Americans of the value of our Constitutional Republic, he felt somehow he had failed in this gargantuan task.
Personally, prior to his losing his hearing, his adlibs, skits, parodies kept me smiling as I chauffeured kids all day long. Bob Grant reruns were on at night. G Gordon, even Art Bell before he stopped criticizing the Clintons and went full loony tunes. Perhaps some remember the hilarious midnight riffs of Larry King on radio? And all Westerners could hear the brilliant melifluous tone of scientist Bill Wattenburg on KGO San Francisco 10pm Sat and Sun. No accident that as the press slanted terminally left, the free AM airwaves became the home of the raconteur, informative, creative, funny and passionate spokesmen of common sense
Rush might feel well enough next week to return. He made it quite clear that if he can't give it his best, then he won't do the show. Understandable. The show was his goodbye to every one of us. I felt his gratitude to me, just another listener, but more, a fellow traveller on the yellow brick road. Sweet and bittersweet.
Thankyou, Rush, for all you have done for freedom-loving Americans. I remember when you were first on national radio. I was so happy to hear someone whose beliefs matched mine. God bless you.
Some friends attended Dan’s Bake Sale and demanded I tune in. Been here since then. Be well and Happy Birthday Rush.
To Rush,
You are in our hearts and minds AND prayers daily.
We love you.
May God send his holy angels to syrround, protect, encourage, comfort, and heal you and all who love you.
If we cannot meet in this life, let’s look forward to meeting in the next.
If we do, my first words to you will be, “And boy? You can keep the stamp.”
Happy 70th birthday to you Rush. Blessings to you and Catherine during this trial you are enduring.
Hoping and praying Rush recovers through His Devine Hand, we need him badly, during these dark days to come. Get well RUSH.
Oh good Lord....you're not alone, I do that now.
It's almost like I grew up with Rush.
He's more like a big brother than a talk show host.
