It hasn’t hurt him yet. Like it or not, it’s effective.

Trump has Melania.

Bloomberg is a chronic masturbater.

“The president, whose instinct for making news often outstrips his veracity, claimed without evidence that former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg wanted to be able to stand on a box to make himself look taller at forthcoming Democratic debates.”

In Julie Wood's twitter profile you see a double chin and a protruding mid section.

In this picture there appears to be high body fat and lack of muscle tone. If you did a body fat analysis, Mike Bloomberg's spokeswoman would likely appear in the overweight range, possibly even obese. Not that I want to point this out. But she is talking about other people's weights and looks in a nasty tone.

Second pic from: Former Bloomberg Spokeswoman (Julie Wood) Fined for Violating Conflict of Interest Rules

Wood said in her own defense that she "was not engaged in business dealings with the city," but added that she now understands that her behavior broke the rules.

Impeach Julie Wood!

Even better. Thanks. ( they critiqued Reagan’s hair too. About which I know nothing but it’s interesting they go after hair!)

Um, guess I missed when Trump became obese. He is a big guy. But obese? Nope.

Scientifically he would be classified as overweight or near obese. I wish he would exercise and lose the 10-15 lbs he was talking about about a year. However, he looks worse at times because he wears a bulletproof vest.

It’s possible that President Trump started it by making fun of Bloomberg’s height...
There are plenty of great things POTUS has accomplished without making ad hominem attacks. I mean, he’s lowering himself to Bloomberg’s level...«8D

Even with his elevator insoles and billions,he will NEVER measure up literally not figuratively to President Trump. He will die a billionaire loser.

It’s also worth noting that Trump’s trolling of his rivals via personal insults has a tactical purpose beyond just appealing to voters. These insults have an effect on his opponents. It’s like trash talking in sports. It can get in your opponent’s head and put him off balance. Trump is a New Yorker and has that street brawler instinct, and he uses whatever he has available to him to try and gain an edge, in this case a psychological edge, over his opponents.

Remember how the ‘Low Energy’ label he slapped on JEB left JEB frustrated? I just read today that Bloomberg is furious over Trump’s attacks on his height. It could be fake news, but I tend to believe it. Guys like Bloomberg don’t know how to respond to personal attacks like Trump’s. If they don’t respond they look weak. If they respond in kind they look petty and tend to come out the loser because Trump is so much better at the trash talking game than they are, and people have grown used to it from Trump so it doesn’t hurt him as much as his opponents to engage in it.

Bloomberg’s a pretty sad case but he can sure spend a lot of money. As for pdjt’s hair, even if it were fake it’s just hair.

It's his hair. Probably a transplant, but still his hair. Biden, on the other hand, has more "hair" now than in 1988.

I agree with your take on it, but there are alot of short men out there It's just something one has no control over and it's not a bad thing. It's what turns off alot of people that would like to support him in my opinion. I get the point of his attacks. Didn't like it when he called Carly Fiorina ugly either. I think she would have been a great supporter of his if he hadn't done that. People have no control over how they look. Low energy Jeb was great because, to me, it wasn't quite so personal. Sleepy Joe is fine. I'd rather him go after his commie tendencies

I don’t disagree with what you said about attacking people for things that they have no control over, like their physical attributes. It’s something I generally find distasteful as well. But I give Trump a pass for the most part, because of the reasons I laid out, and also because the people he’s attacking, like Carly, Bloomberg, etc. aren’t babies. They know that things are going to get rough when they enter the arena, and I’m sure they are capable of being just as cutthroat in their own way as Trump is.

Also, I think most voters don’t take his insults too literally and know what Trump is up to (trying to fluster his opponents rather than harboring any true animosity towards them for their appearance). The thing about Trump’s insults is that even when they are ostensibly targeting a physical attribute, there is usually a more subtle underlying message aimed at their character hidden within the attack. Think Rubio. He was tagged with ‘Little Marco’. Trump also made fun of his excessive sweating. Both attacks were effective because they were really targeting his immaturity and inability to handle the demands of the job more than any physical shortcomings.

Anyway, thanks for the response. I enjoyed talking with you.
