She’s planning something....I’ve pegged her as one who was most likely to try to harm Trump if she ever got the chance. Remember, two women tried to do in Prez Ford. A lady assassin is often an over looked possibility. She’s too quiet!

Yeah, I bet she is freaking out.

I wonder if one of her relatives was in the car.

Shock and awe was always BS

You might be thinking of the wrong engagement. Shock and Awe had nothing to do with the invasion of Bagdad. The invasion of Badgad was our second engagement. Agreed that the carpet and fire bombing of whole cities in WWII had strategic benefit, mostly on the morale and will of an adversary to fight. The strategy Bush I employed was a simultaneously coordinated attack across an entire country to wipe out all communications and vital infrastructure to eliminate an enemies ability to coordinate or in many cases even fight and defend. In the first hour of the air campaign, all units communications were cut off. None of their military forces had any idea what was going on around them. They were blind, deaf and ignorant from the first hours. Following our opening salvo of sorties and missile strikes, we systematically dismantled much of their exposed military assets and units. THAT was the intent of Shock and Awe. We rendered them almost helpless in the first hours and controlled the skies immediately.

My question is, could we do that with Iran? Iran has the ability to do some damage with their missiles. But so did Iraq. Iraq just never got a message to fire and couldn't coordinate targets without communications. I think Iran would get support from Russia, maybe not as much from China. NK would love to help Iran, but could only cheer for them. I expect, somewhere in Washington, there is a plan at the ready. My other question is, are we ready to implement it right now? In Dessert Storm, it took us months to mobilize and prepare.
